Fantastic book series so far (small spoiler warning)
The only complaint I have is the near final fight and how it played out versus how easy it would have been if the MC had reacted faster to the antagonists’ antics. I get it was for the plot development but i felt it was just a little too drawn out. But other then that, Dante well done, Alex and Marissa a pleasure to listen to your work again as always. Looking forward to the next installment of this series.

well done
the narrator's always do a fantastic job. I like the story so far. There was a part that surprised me some but after having read Dante King's Empire Building books it wasn't as shocking. With that said can't wait to see what comes next. As of the time of this review books 1 through 3 or available in audio format with book 4 coming out December 7th. Books 1 through 6 are available in e-book form Westbrook 6 only recently having come out.

Overall it ok
This book was ok for the most part, but the MC continue use of trying to be funny was annoying. There was a point where the MC could have stopped the bad guy but instead just watched it happen. It was just dumb how he had this long monologue just fight to kill him later. To be honest the MC is very immature and annoying in his banter with most people. At one point I was like just shut up and fight.

The performance has been great, interesting story.
The performance has been great, and story is interesting.
The story is really good, but sometimes I cringe at what they main character says/thinks. It's been acknowledged that the other characters won't know references from Earth's culture, so the main character continually making movie references to his companions gets a bit annoying. I try to imagine it is habit or something, but it hurt every time anyway.
I am enjoying it though, and will continue the series.

nearly lost me
Alright look, great book and will buy the next. BUT! I almost quit when the mc got too cocky, ignored the obvious, and literally did the equivalent of watching the enemy power up.

Nother home run
The book is another great success for Dante king. If you haven’t listened to the first book then you’re truly missing out. The second book really expounds on the first in ways that you were waiting for when the first book ended on such a cliffhanger as “ you’re a dragon breeder”
