great start
I have no complaints at all with this book. of course the direction is a mystery and no huge stupid cliffhanger. I will gladly purchase the next in series .

Male narrator lacks the needed emotion
The story is good but the main character treats things as ho-hum events . Even the sex scenes were a little boring. The book is rather expensive for its
length. The group that was formed at the end seemed too accepting about things. No questions or curiosity. The story did not make me excited to read the next.

The Magicians meets Harry Potter meets Black Clover
Not a terrible book and worth getting the next in the series. A trifle short and a little less than attention grabbing, but not bad. As long as you also don’t mind explicit sexual content, too.

Great Novel to listen to of Dante King
This is my first book from Dante King and I love his writing style. The voice acting is so good for the book and the story just makes you wish there was more. Can't wait to start book 2.

Poking fun at all the magic
Is there any major magic franchise that didn’t get ripped off in this book? A couple, but it’s only the first book. It was a lot of fun, though the juvenile level of humor does weigh down a bit over time.
Like a lot of books in the HaremLit genre, it doesn’t save its secrets very long. I would have liked to see the big reveal take a couple of more books to unfold.
