Publisher's Summary

Monica does not abdicate. She will not resign herself to a man's will...even a man as strong as Jonathan. She's not weak or fragile, nor does she break at the first sign of trouble.

Until she realizes she's falling in love with him, and that she’ll never be the same if she allows it.

She breaks into a million sharp pieces and damages him in the process.

But what can she do?

Stay with him and untangle the mess of his life?

Commit to his rules, his secrets, his troubles?

No.

She'll commit to a man, not a lie.

She'll strip away everything between them, even if it ends them.

Don't miss this listen!!!! You'll be sorry!

If you love Ava and Gideon, Danika and Tristan, Anastasia and Christian then you will love this story. This book was written in a face paced style, right to the point and narrated perfectly. The female narrator was extraordinary and of course Christian Fox (male narrator) never disappoints. Can't wait for bundle 3.

This is a series and bundle 1 needs to be listened to first. Does not disappoint!

C.D Reiss I applaud you!!

WHAT?!? STUNNED INTO SUBMISSION!

AAAARRRRGGGHHH!!! That's the sound of my anguish and dismay when this fantastic story ended with a freaking cliffhanger!! This book takes you on an erotic emotional ride, just like book1; but wow, the ending left me reeling with anticipation and a million questions about Jonathan, his sociopath daddy, their family's shenanigans, and what the $&@#! is really going on?!?

A story that leaves me wanting to conduct a massive Google search to find out when and if there's a 'next book' dropping, is definitely worthy of 5 stars! Get it, you will not be disappointed.

I loved this story, there were no parts where I got bored... the narration is outstanding! The character Monica is great... not a whiney girl but a woman with brain and character... can't wait for the next book!!!

5 DRIPPING WET STARS ALL ARROUND!!!

If you could sum up Control, Burn, Resist: Books 4-6 in three words, what would they be?

Sensual, addictive, exciting

What other book might you compare Control, Burn, Resist: Books 4-6 to and why?

Books 4-6 in the Songs of Submission series are unlike anything I've read. The books don't have fillers which allows the plot and writing to flow smoothly.

What about Jo Raylan and Christian Fox ’s performance did you like?

Raylan's and Fox's performance was amazing. Raylan's reading style and voice are perfect for Monica. When she sang the songs, I was like "wow!" I loved listening to the scene when Jessica was at Jonathan's. The texting between Monica and Jonathan on the airplane was one of my favorites to listen to. The whole thing was perfect.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wanted to listen to the series in one sitting but had too many errands to run. Plus I have a job to go to the next morning.

Any additional comments?

I wanted to read the books in paperback but had to "settle" for audiobooks instead. After having listened to the audiobooks I do not feel like I SETTLED at all. I'm still going to purchase the books only now I'll hear Jo's voice when I read them.

On the edge of seat

The entire series is a must read. Jonathan is by far the most believable dominant in a book. Would love to gave had a book about Margie or his father or even Debbie the boss.

Multile books of dark desires.

Interesting series with some of the same plot twist of another best selling series. Plenty of lust to quench a serious thirst.

Crazy Addictive!

Control-Part 4 of 9: More drama with the ex-wife. Jonathan just confuses me. I can't tell if he finally acknowledges his love of Monica and wants more or if he just wants to keep her but at arms length. Monica is still being stupid about her ex, Kevin. That guy is a sleaze ball and she's crazy for not cutting ties. I'm still loving every bit of of these two. Burn-Part 5 of 9: The ex-wife finally made her play and it’s a big one. The ex-boyfriend is even more of a sleaze. Monica is still clueless about him. And how can the other ex-boyfriend/best friend think Kevin is better than Jonathan. Was he never around during their relationship? I like Jonathan more and more with each book. Resist-Part 6 of 9: This dealt with the aftermath of the ex-wife’s power play. We get the dance of Monica wanting to help Jonathan out of what Jessica got him into, and Jonathan trying to keep Monica away from Jessica. I find it funny that his distraction technique is sex. Like that will make her forget everything. Thankfully we have no Kevin, the sleaze, in this episode. Once again it ends on a big cliffhanger.

Great story development

This book takes us deeper into the lives, relationships, and pasts of the characters we met in Submission. It is very well written and superbly narrated. You will find yourself more immersed in the lives of the main characters than you are interested in their love lives; which is an impressive feat as the sex is graphic, raw and also extremely well written and narrated.
