inflections ruined the performance.
the reader ended every neutral statement by the main character with an inflection making it sound like a question or whiney. the main character is a bad ass but this reader makes him speaks like an unsure whiner. kind of kills the mood of the book.

Series get better
I like this series and the world he's created. The narrator improves and continues to do so as the series continues. Good humor, nice characters that I care about. This series is becoming a favorite.

Fun to listen,
I like this book and the first. They are fun and feel like sort of action adventure meets paranormal meets soap opera. At this point I will continue listening but Chris’s level of power is almost too much. Reminds me of Scarlet Johansson in Lucy. It is fun but almost TOO much.

I'm enjoying this series
I'm loving everything about this series. Chris Gordon, he's going through lots of changes, becoming as strong or stronger than his Vampire Friends. This brings on a lot of challenges. He and Tanya have their share of 'issues' as well.
The narration of James Patrick Cronin really brings this story to life, his portrayal of Chris really pulls you into the story and gives you a sense of Chris' personality. All the other characters are given very unique voices as well and that makes it an even more entertaining tale.

Once you start .... You won't put it down!!!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this book and series. To find the first book of a series that is nonstop from start to finish and realize there are 7 more waiting in the wings so to speak is just AWSOME!!!
What did you like best about this story?
It is difficult to pick what is best of this story. It was a easy to keep reading until it was finished and then the panic of I need the next book... NOW!!!
Which scene was your favorite?
The confrontation with the Government is well done, and if such a person did exist the government reaction was believable.

My reaction to this book was " there are only 6 books left " !!!!!!!
