Sound principles, annoying read

Overall, the principles and ideas in this book are solid. The only thing I didn't appreciate it just how much Vaynerchuk kept saying how if you want to be successful you have to work 12-15 hours a day. That its impossible if you don't put in insane, mind bending hours. Sure he tries to give the caveat that if you aren't trying to become a multi-millionaire you don't need to do this, but he fails at that gloriously. He makes you feel like a chump for wanting to work hard, but still have a life while doing it. Besides that problem, he has a lot of great stories that are helpful for those trying to grow their own business.

Actionable Advice, Real World Examples

I really appreciated this book. I feel the advice given is actionable and realistic. Gary makes no promises of instant stardom, quite the contrary. Gary constantly reminds the reader that hard work and dedication are what it takes to “crush it.” The real world examples in this book were super helpful and motivating. None of the “authors” claim that it was easy rather they tell real stories and express real growing pains.
Gary’s advice on the various social media channels and how to use them is good stuff and I feel I can actually begin implementing his tips today.
If you really want to be serious about building your own personal brand, this is a great resource.

I love everything about this book. From the narration, sorry telling and outlined flow. Overall I've learned more from this one book about social media then the seven years of Classes, business boot amps and self help. I definitely will be listening to this book 3-4 times a year due to so much juicy tips and information.Well done Gary Vee
