Voz Virtual es una narración generada por computadora para audiolibros..
She’s a pawn in a deadly game. A game for which she doesn’t know the rules.

One moment, Lark Axton is just a trainee at Flighthaven—a noble daughter of Aclaris training to fight the winged enemies from Tirene—who’s embroiled in a forbidden love affair with her gorgeous trainer, Sterling.

The next, she’s reeling from the worst kind of betrayals. Now, she doesn’t know who she is. Or who to trust.

Because Sterling isn’t a flight trainer. He isn’t even Sterling. He’s Prince Knox of Tirene. And he’s kidnapped Lark on the orders of his older brother, King Jasper, who claims Lark is Tirenese and seems determined to court her.

Held hostage in the Royal Palace, Lark soon realizes she may be the subject of a prophesy written before her first breath. One that could cost her life. Her heart torn by betrayal and her mind consumed by more questions than answers, Lark is soon ensnared in a dangerous game.

But perhaps the greatest danger of all is Sterling. One look from him can ignite a blaze hotter than the fire magic she’s suppressed her entire life. Caught up in a realm of intrigue where there’s a fine line between love and hate, Lark must choose between the world of her past and the one that holds her future...a future threatened by a sinister, slumbering evil that’s awakening to consume them all.

Bestselling author Nina Frost delivers an irresistible blend of intrigue, passion, and action in this stunning second installment of her captivating Dragons of Tirene series.

If I could time travel and un-invent AI I would. Virtual voice ruins audiobooks.

Virtual Voice is the literal worst

This story and characters are well developed and easy to listen to. I did not care for the AI reading but the story is great.

Great story line.

The narration makes it really hard to follow the story! It also lacks the emotion and feels the characters are expressing.

I can’t deal with the ai narration

I do not enjoy the automated voice. There are many inflections that are read wrong and it takes away from the story and the characters.

Automated voice

This storyline was much more boring and volatile then the first book. The heroine did not have a backbone, she gets kidnapped and put in a dungeon and she still remains meek and friendly? Really? Someone just decided they are betrothed and she just rolls over and say nothing? It really irked me these ups and downs. The depth missed in the story. It felt like a fairytale where something ominous is happening and the bland heroine just goes on - like your best friend got fried by a dragon and you just do nothing, no moarning no reminiscence nothing.

The automatic narration was this time a bit off tune. There are more scenes than the first book where the emotioned was missed - like no one truly listened and edited it.

So the book was so so

Ups and downs

The story has potential but is written in a choppy, elementary fashion. The protagonist spends most of her time getting rescued and the dialogue is a bit painful at times. The AI performance is painful.

Terrible AI

I am loving this series. It’s such a good story with interesting twists. I wish someone would pick this up to actually read it. The computer generation does not take context cues when interpreting some words…

Great story. Computer narration could use work

I’m not a huge fan of the AI generated audio book but overall it was good.

Fun ride.

AI narration is not it. It leaves so much to be desired. The story is engaging enough; nothing out of this world, but I'm entertained enough to want to continue. However, the narration is not good. I feel like so much is lost when a human isn't the audiobook narrator. You lose character acting, sarcasm, emotion... it just doesn't work.

The AI narration is no replacement for real voice actors.

I really enjoyed this book but the AI narration made the listening experience horrible. I almost DNF’d because of it.
