the voice

the voice is too fast and annoying. sounds a bit robotic and rushed like it's sped up.

Crow fairy!!

Very different and interesting. Started out slow and similar to beauty and the beast story. But to have a crow who’s also a fairy. Very interesting terminology and I like it. I wish there is at least a man’s voice to say the men’s part. Overall was good. Can’t wait to listen to the next one.

I couldn't wait for this book to end

I hate Dnfing books so finishing this book was a task, the story had so much potential but the FMC was so unlikable, she kept having she same internal monologue and kept having the right idea and voicing the wrong questions. I never felt the love or need for each other.

Female Narrator Voice Irritating

For me, the female voice tone and cadence is very irritating. I won’t be listening to other books in the series. The story is okay

Patience

The story is good very similar to A court of Thorns and Roses. However it takes a a long time for the story to get off the ground and even longer for the main characters to finally fall in love, like chapter 30

Good story over all. Look forward to book two.

Good story. Well written. The last three chapters too wordy and drawn out but five stars overall and for story.
The female narrator very mundane and sometimes, like she was bored reading instead of playing the part. But, she greatly improved in the last chapters when became more emotive.

A beauty and the beast better retelling. The author did a great job at that. I love a book that keeps me puzzled. Slow burn but worth it .

Witty FMC

As always the cliff hanger gets me. The witty FMC and her slow falling for the MMC in a Beauty and the beast type retelling with crow elves is fantastic.

Great spin on Beauty and the Beast

The narrator is super excitable, and though many say she talks too fast- I feel like she narrates how my thoughts fly through my head, lol, so super relatable.
