I almost never write reviews, but this book is not only exquisitely written but also is fresh and original.
And one hell of a cliffhanger!

Loved this story!

Loved both POVs, and the ending was…I can’t. The way I was just relaxing listening to what I knew would be a cliffhanger, but in a completely different way, to my eyes literally bulging and me sitting up straight like rewind, what did I just hear?? My heart.

This title is the PERFECT name for this book!! Oh my goodness!! So many emotions!! THE END…..soo many GASP!! I was in tears and enraged…all the feels!! GET this book. I need to pause, get a hold of my emotions before I start the second book. Ohhh emmmm gheeeee😳

Hooked Quick!!

It is a quick hook. The world building pulled together with the plot and before chapter 4 I was hooked, wanting to know what happens. Excellent reading, great character development, and a plot twist at the end. Thank goodness the second book is already published!!

Engaging and surprising

Such a great story, wonderfully performed! The twists are surprising, the banter is fun, the magic is intriguing. I can't wait to listen to part 2 of this duology.
