Ah-mazing!!!

The book was so good....and that twist...ripped me apart. What just happened? Then the book 2 blurb! I need book2, NOW!

3.75 stars. This is an easy to read romantasy, with easy world building, magic, light spice, angst, and a big twist/cliffhanger ending leaving me absolutely needing the next book asap bc i have so many questions. The FMC is smart, confident and is not one to back down. And the MMC is one hot book boyfriend (the nose ring)-I’d marry that man! I do think there are a few plot holes. I don’t want to give anything away but I didn’t love that the twist at the end was almost too jarring/unpredictable. I’m questioning everything! Nonetheless, I’ll definitely be reading book 2 once it’s out! The Narrartors were great!

So good

The whole performance of the book is amazing. The emotional depth is spot on and can be felt as it’s being narrated. I was SHOCKED at the end of the book, and cannot wait to read the future books.

THE TWIST

Holy crap. I was recommended this book because I was in a massive slump and just couldn’t find a book to bring me back. So I saw this book recommended on TikTok for bamboozling people with the plot twist. So naturally, I was looking out for any and all twists. But I could NOT in ANY UNIVERSE have expected THAT. Bravo. It was the first time I’ve had to PAUSE an audio book and piece it together. Book had me gasping at work 💀 I’m going to need book two like yESTERDAY please and thank you ♡

Completely took me by surprise!

The story was amazing. Could’ve did with a little more world building but overall I really enjoyed this book. There’s a turn in the book that had me completely shocked. I don’t know how I’m gonna be able to make it until the next one comes out. I completely recommend this book

Warning you will feel betrayed…

A story that has potential — one you think you know or have read elements of before, but then WHAM! You’re listening and suddenly wondering how you didn’t see that plot twist coming. Probably because there are plot holes that I decided to overlook but the ending definitely caught me off guard. I’m intrigued enough to keep going with the series…I think.

OMGGGG

5 million ⭐️ for this book making me fall in love with fantasy, but also completely and utterly destroying me. The emotional roller coaster that this book took me on was insane! I fell in love with Acker, and I thought I loved Brynn (silly me), and hated Kai from the jump. As a girlie who wasn’t a fantasy person, this is such a good book!!!

Holy plot twist

I went into this book completely blind- it did NOT disappoint! This book was written well. It isn’t hard to follow- Some of the romantsy stories are hard to follow! This one isn’t and you can’t guess the twist- it certainly wasn’t expected! Cannot wait for book 2
