A stunning new approach to how individuals can not only change their lives for the better in the workplace, but also their lives away from the office, including (but not limited to) finding ways to improve one's working relationship with others, one's overall health, outlook on life, and so on. For example, why is it that 95% of all diet attempts fail? Why do New Year's Resolutions last no more than a few days? Why can't people with good intentions seem to make consistent and positive strides in the way they want to improve their careers, financial fitness, physical fitness, and so on?

Possibly the most feared challenge to learning Spanish is the challenge of memory; there are just too many words and too many rules to remember. For every new word we learn, we seem to forget two old ones, and as a result, fluency can seem out of reach. According to Professor Elfrieda H. Hieber from the University of California, Berkeley, the 100 most frequent words account for about 50 percent of the words in a typical text and the 1000 most frequent words for about 70 percent.

Every day, you have an opportunity to use your voice to have a positive impact - at work or in your community. You can inspire and persuade your audience - or you can distract and put them to sleep. Nervous, rambling robotic - these presentation styles can ruin a talk on even the most critical topics. And with each weak performance, career prospects dim. To get ahead and make an impact, you need to deliver well-crafted messages with confidence and authenticity. You must sound as capable as you are.

Publisher's Summary
Do you feel that there is a clear hierarchy of power in your daily relationships and you feel a bit hopeless or fearful in the low-power position?
Are you sometimes a bit socially awkward and get easily trapped in unpleasant conversations or a strange silence?
Do you simply want to create a great first impression of your personality, be able to hold lighthearted small-talk, and find the right words in any situation?
If you answered yes to at least one of the questions above, then this guide was specifically written to cater to your needs.
Both in the business and in the private world, a good first impression and the ability to hold small-talk are crucial and can provide you with a significant advantage over people who are less skilled.
The reason why the first impression is so powerful is that the human brain judges information sequentially, according to Arthur Dobrin, a researcher in the science of first impressions.
"The exaggerated impact of first impressions is related to the halo effect," he explains scientifically. "That phenomenon whereby the perception of positive qualities in one thing or part gives rise to the perception of similar qualities in related things or in the whole.”
The same thing is not only true about the familiar first impression, but also the ability to start a lighthearted conversation in private or at work, deal with difficult situations, and to stay calm in stressful environments.
If you ever wanted to discuss some challenges with a customer, tell a hard-working employee that he's simply not meeting expectations.
In Conversation Skills Secrets you’ll discover:
- The four little-known, but absolutely crucial techniques to INSTANTLY handle people better (No matter if it’s at work or in your personal life!)
- The six exact reasons why people are well liked by others - and how to become this person that seems to get along with nearly anybody!
- What role empathy, respect for others, and honesty really play in your daily interactions
- How it is possible to influence and convince people in a positive way, so that both of you will benefit
- And much, much more!
Even if you feel that you currently completely lack the interpersonal skills to deal with tense and difficult situations or defuse a hot conversation, the extensive research that went into this guide and the practical applications and exercises will develop and cultivate your ability to master any hurdle in a relationship with your family, friends, your spouse, or the boss.
So if you want to finally access the tricks and tips most experts don’t even know and finally unlock your full potential as a confident conversationalist, click “Add to Cart” now!

Not very good
The narration was disappointing and robotic. I had doubts a couple times that it was a human's voice and not an automated text-to-speech system.
The content is pretty weak. Lots of cliches, gone over quickly. Shockingly, one of the pieces of advice on increasing status was to "fake it".
Thanks for such stellar advice.
Oh, and the 3h running time isn't even for this book - somewhere near the end it switches to "a bonus gift" of free chapters from his other book. Barf - I'm sure the author or publisher knew a 2.5h book would make it look like there wasn't much real content inside.
