narrator needs slow down because she speaks too rapidly and it is hard to keep up

This one was full of suspense. I enjoyed this book a lot. Looking forward to the other ones in the series

Wonderful suspense and romance

This book has wonderful characters and great suspense. The romance is lovely. It all unfolds at a great pace. The narration is excellent.

Good book, but not realistic

Overall, this was a good book, however, there are certain aspects of the book that just aren’t realistic. Like Gage….he is head of a tactical team, but was clueless when it came to CSI work of creating casts from footprints to track a killer. Even the whole team, who somehow lost the intruder, who miraculously got through a high-security fortress that required fingerprint access. Not to mention, the team supposedly has night vision, but still couldn’t track him. It’s just too unrealistic. This team should have been portrayed as more bad-a$$ than they were!!

Awesome!!

What a great story with fast moving action, a rekindled romance and fun banter between characters. Already started book 2. I see the first 3 are on audible and I’m hoping the rest in the series will follow. Pleeeeeeease!!!!

Nice combination of mystery and romance

I don’t always like second chance romances but I enjoyed this one. I always appreciate clean romances without having to wonder what’s coming up next.

Another success for Susan Sleeman

I enjoyed this book. I like the twists and turns.
And being Christian based there are no sex seems or foul language.

Narrator Needs to Slow Down

Great story. Narrator has a pleasant voice and decent inflection, but seems as if she is trying to show how fast she can read.

I really enjoyed this book. I've also listened to book two. Both are good clean stories.
