These stories are the best.

THE STORY IS WELL WRITTEN BY SARAH WOODBURY AND VERY EASY TO FOLLOW. IT IS ACCEPTABLE FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES. STORYLINE FOLLOWS THE CONUNDRUM OF FALLING NOT JUST BETWEEN WORLDS BUT THROUGH TIME AND THE CONSEQUENCES WHAT ARE THEY IF THE FUTURE GOES TO THE PAST WITHOUT RESTRICTION. DAVID FALLS AGAIN THROUGH TIME AND THE QUESTION THRUST UPON HIM, WILL IT BE ANSWERED?
THE NARRATOR LAUREL SCHROEDER IS GREAT EASY TO FOLLOW.
THE STORYLINE IS FULL OF SUSPENSE, THRILL, INTRIGUED AND DRAMA AND ROMANCE. LOTS OF LAUGHS THROUGHOUT MUST LISTEN TO.

Great Story

I loved the story! The imagery that Sarah creates is wonderful. I don't tire at multiple rereadings. The narrator is pretty good, but I found it distracting with "t" endings of sentences...it sounded more like 'tchs'...annoying.

stunning and entertaining

as always laurel narrates Sarah's story beautifully. I didn't want to stop listening! I was in the car for almost the entire length of the book, and sat in the parking garage just to finish the last chapter. it was so well written and read. probably by far one of the most intriguing stories for David this series has produced. we see how much he has grown into the authority of being king. his acceptance of that fact and what has to be done to secure not only his future but that of all his people. I was thrown for a loop on what had happened in Avalon though. I'm thinking Chad might not be who he says he is. I dunno. we'll just have to wait and see how that plays out.

Great Narration & Wonderful Storyline

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. I love this series!! And it is so easy to listen to with the narrator’s use of different voices and accents for the different characters. Can’t wait for the next one!

Okay

I understand that Sarah is trying to carry the story along from multiple directions. I’m finding it a little tedious to have the book’s plot (around approximately one month in book world March and April 1294) to last for years in my world. This was first released in December 2016 and I’m trying to remember all the various characters and castles a few years later. The actual book is barely progressing and the minutiae is overwhelming. Yes the books are about time travel BUT I miss the details about daily life from the 13th century. I KNOW what life is like in the 21st century. I’m not interested in cell phones, I want to hear about holidays and customs from the past. These were the details that first caught my curiosity in the After Cilmeri series. I love to hear about the castles and what everyone’s daily life is like. I don’t particularly care what a hospital in Wales looks like in the 21st century. I think the entire airplane scene was a miss, it was barely discussed. I’ve enjoyed and purchased the ebooks and audible books in the series for years. I’m no longer feeling the history nerd’s love. (No offense Sarah , the nerd comment is said with love) . The Middle Ages has plenty of intrigue. The different factions in the future and their machinations are cumbersome and it’s becoming more science fiction than historical and time travel.
