So sweet and funny

Pepper Winters does it again! This book was so funny it brought me to tears more than once. I absolutely love love love it and will be recommending it to all my friends!!!

Hilarious!

5 Crazy Ass Must Listen Stars!!!!!

First of all, Pepper Winters (Tess Hunter) writing a RomCom! Second of all, Pepper Winters writing a RomCom! I know! I'm floored!
Over the last year I have become a huge Pepper Winters fan and have read practically everything that she has written. And what I have read was dark, twisted, and so very far out in left field from what this book was. I totally understand the need for a pen name when writing a different genre. I kinda understand the whole "pigeon hole" aspect of it but I have to say that I love that she penned it as "Pepper Winters writing as Tess Hunter". I love a good RomCom but I can honestly say that I probably would not have read this had it not been for Pepper's name on the cover. She's a favorite and an auto-one-click for me. It just blows me away the versatility of Pepper's writing. She seemless flowed right into the RomCom genre and had me laughing my ass off throughout this book.
Ryder and Vesper's banter at the beginning was epic. Actually, their banter throughout the book had me busting a gut. What really got me was the humor thrown in during the sexy times. While Ryder had me squeezing my legs together right along with Vesper, he would say something that would have me laughing up a storm. But funnily enough, it didn't kill the mood.
The narrators did an amazing job giving the characters a voice. They really brought the story to life.
Pepper Winters has most definitely kicked it up a notch on my faves list with this foray into RomCom. I look forward to what's next on the Tess Hunter forefront.

Adorable!

This is a sweet and adorable story. I was hooked within the first five minutes.
I loved all of the characters thoroughly, and I loved their love of animals!
Furthermore, the narrators were amazing. This will definitely be a story I listen to again!

Not pepper

Nothing like pepper at all circling lack of depth they want more characters to submit but I feel like I’ve covered it

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

You had me at...

I could not put it down! Well, at least until the mini plot twist. I was so thrown by it that I had to take a short break to say to myself "WTF". Once I calmed I was able resume touching it.
Really the writing is beyond 5 stars. It was especially cute to hear all the English ways of saying American things. Not sure what's up with the writing as business but Tess & Pepper are spot on. I cannot wait until the next installment of ear porn.
And all the fur babies tugging at my heart strings. this really was a big part of making this epic love story so darn epic & irresistible.
CJ BLOOM was the vessel as Vesper. Sultry,smart, sweet & down right naughty.
Eric Michael Summerer is my new favorite male narrator. move over Sebastian York. Mama's got a new sexier, hotter & sweeter pet. Call me as I'd love to touch it, relax I mean your voice.

Feel good book with cute puppers

If you didn’t know before, this book really highlights how much Pepper loves animals. And this book did not disappoint on the menagerie of furry babies. It was fun just imagining all the different kinds of dogs. And their names were adorable. Listening to this after the Goddess Isle books, I can’t help but think if Ryder influenced Sully’s character a little.

I enjoyed Ryder and Vesper so much. They’re explorative and comfortable around each other. Overall, this book is lighthearted. Really no angst or drama so it’s lacking a major conflict but sometimes you need something fluffy. There is a misunderstanding but it gets resolved real quick and understandably so by communicating.

The narrators matched their characters so no qualms there.

Hilarious romantic comedy!

The story in this audiobook was funny and had lots of sweet romantic moments, as well as some sexy ones. The heroine is a veterinarian with a very busy practice. The hero is a independently wealthy, somewhat eccentric guy who rescues animals, bringing them in to her clinic to be checked up on. They have an awkward chemistry, but he just keeps coming back! They begin to see more of each other over the animals and his rescue operation, where she finds he’s really a sweet, nice guy. The narration was well performed and I enjoyed this lighthearted book.
