I LOVED Mav & Clara!

Every cowboy book Kim Loraine writes is pure perfection. The Baby Proposition just shot to the top of my list. The story is fantastic & the performances by Stella Hunter & J.F. Harding were some of the best I've listened to! There's no way you won't fall in love with Mav & Clara. I just adored Clara and how she knew what she wanted and was gonna make it happen her way. There was a scene when she was out with her girlfriends that made me laugh. Jenna was giving Clara the hardest time about not getting it on with Mav when she pops out with this line "not this b*tch and Maverick." Lol!
Maverick is the swooniest man and J.F. nails every line. Gems like this: "I won't even charge you a stud fee." or "You're mine darlin'. Until this is over. You understand?"

Sweet and Satisfying Wilde ride!!

The Baby Proposition by Kim Loraine a sweet, seductive "Wilde" ride that I couldn't get enough of. I've been so excited to finally get Maverick's story, and this "planned" baby proposal that turned into so much more hooked me from start to finish. Kim Loraine has a way of making the reader/ listener feel completely connected to the characters and entirely consumed in their love stories.

Stella Hunter and J.F. Harding narrate the audiobook in duet style narration. This was my first time hearing these two paired together, and they sounded amazing! Clara is a vet on the Wilde Ranch, and has never seen Maverick as any more than a friend and coworker. However, Clara is approaching 40, and wants a baby of her own. Stella did a fantastic job showcasing all of Clara's independent, loving, and dedicated qualities in her performance. Stella simply made me fall in love with Clara's strength and passion to go after what she wanted. J.F. Harding was an absolute dream as Maverick. In his narration, you could feel all of Maverick's vulnerabilities, ambitions, and desires as he figures out what really matters in his life; all performed in a sinful southern drawl. Maverick and Clara's chemistry was off the charts HOT!

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. If you love a friends to lovers/ workplace romance with a hot hunky cowboy (oh baby!), a determined fierce vet, black lace and steamy times, a loyal and supportive family, a baby proposition that of course turns into so much more, and a sweet satisfying HEA that will drive you wild, then baby, you will absolutely adore Maverick and Clara's love story. I always look forward to more from Kim Loraine.

The Baby Proposition is a duet narration with J.F. Harding as Mav and Stella Hunter as Clara. They are a great match for this book. Their performances evoke so much emotion and take the listener on a stunning adventure of friendship, heartbreak, love, and finding your place in the world. I felt the words deep in my soul throughout their performance.
The Baby Proposition is a stand-alone novel and is the first book in the Anything for Love series. Since it has several characters that are mentioned in the Ryker/Wilde Ranch series, your reading experience will be enhanced by reading those first. Plus, disappearing into the Sunrise, Montana world of swoon-worthy cowboys is always an enjoyable experience.
I absolutely loved everything about the book… the story, Stella Hunter, J.F. Harding and the way he says “baby” and “darlin’.” I laughed, I cried, I bawled during the voicemail, and I swooned when they finally found their happily ever after!

Cowboy Perfection!

Well, I’m going to go pack my bags and head to Sunrise. With every book we get in the Ryker/Wilde world, I’m even more convinced I need to go find a cowboy for myself. “The Baby Proposition” was a steamy, sweet and heartfelt friends to lovers swoony romance.

Clara is almost 40 and she wants a baby. All relationships before have never amounted to anything and she’s ready to take the next stop by herself. That’s until her longtime friend/wedding date offers up his stud services and be the father to her baby. The two have been friends for years but taking their friendship to another level with feelings neither was expecting.

Man oh man. Maverick Wilde, you were such a pleasant surprise. A confident cowboy on the outside but definitely has some personal issues underneath that make him even hotter. His issues are relatable and you can’t help but feel for him. And I loved Clara. Smart, confident and not afraid to go for what she wants. Daddy boot camp was hilarious. And we get plenty of updates from the Rykers and Wildes. The ending was perfect and had me in happy tears.

Stella Hunter was absolutely fabulous as Clara. And J.F. Harding was so swoony as Maverick. He was the perfect cowboy.

ABSOLUTE MUST READ!!

This Story Was Amazing. The More I Read In All Of These Interconnected Series The More I Love Them. Outstanding Stories And The Narration Is Spot On!!

Predictable

This story had promise; however, as it progressed, the plot was lost and replaced with romanitic scenes. Over and over the main characters had the same conversation in different settings about their relationship. The writing was VERY redundant.

Cute story

The story was cute although I didn’t believe the cowboy when he was confessing his love. He was going to leave her. Not my favorite, but it was so funny.

Good story, disappointing FMC

The female main character darn near ruined the book for me. The woe is me behavior of her with the fourth wall breaking about stereotypical females in romance novels was dead on. The typical thinking everything revolves around her and everyone is a let down before she even gives them a chance. Make the character less of a self-deprecating sad sack and I’d be all ears. Over the hype on females in books and the behavior authors dole out

Finally, more authentic narrators!

It’s very hard to find a good southern romance novel with a narrator with an accent to match, but this one comes pretty close. The story line was good, it wasn’t super exciting, but I did enjoy it!

Cute

This was cute and sweet. I really liked Wyatt but found Clara to be a bit prickly and harder to relate with. I felt sorry for Wyatt that she wanted to keep him a secret so long. But that was a very small issue and I honestly enjoyed their story on a whole. I listened to the audiobook and thought the narrators did a great job.

Clara and Maverick!

Clara is the town vet which has severely limited her dating experiences as both she and the cowboys she works for are hesitant to cross lines and destroy their business relationship. She has reached the time in her life when she wants a child and is prepared to do it alone however when her best friend Maverick finds out it changes everything.

Maverick doesn’t believe that love or a relationship is for him but that doesn’t mean he isn’t attracted to Clara. Their friendship is tested as what started out as being each other’s dates for all the upcoming weddings to keep the matchmakers away turns into Maverick offering to give Clara the baby she wants the old-fashioned way.

Friendship turns to love as the chemistry between them ignites as Maverick tries to show Clara he is a man she can count for her and their child even if they had some missteps along the way. The performance of the narrators was everything you could want and more as they brought out all the steam and emotion of the story.

I pre ordered this book and counted the days. This book was great it didn't disappoint. Can't wait for the next book

I need a cowboy 🤠❤️🔥

Maverick is my official book boyfriend, I didn't know I needed one until listening to this book. This is a sweet romantic story that will have you Swooning. I look forward to listening to more books by this author.
