You're about to discover how the re-emergence of the real estate market sparked renewed optimism in construction. Across different states in the country, residential construction jobs are being undertaken to satisfy housing demands. Since residential construction projects are still a business (except when you want to build your own home), the idea is to build enough living spaces and to offer them to prospective clients or lessees at affordable prices.

Of course the success of such a goal still lies on income and the general economic outlook, but one thing is for certain: now that the housing crisis is over, more people will look forward to getting a place to call home.

In this audiobook, we'll talk about the construction project management life cycle. We'll also cover contracting and contract management, the participants involved in a construction job, and the critical success factors in every contracting job.

This audiobook is produced for both project managers and for homeowners who wish to build residential properties; the concepts discussed herein are general, but are important when it comes to approaching the construction process.

There are better books out there

What would have made The Construction Project Management Success Guide, 3rd Edition better?

Poor grammar and not helpful at all. How is this a 3rd edition?

Would you ever listen to anything by Andreas P. again?

No.

Would you be willing to try another one of Millian Quinteros’s performances?

No.

Any additional comments?

This is the only book on Audible on this topic. That's pitiful.

Basic Book

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

This book is very surface level. It does not go in-depth on any topic. Defiantly a good overview of the process but not "everything you need to know" as the title suggest.

What didn’t you like about Millian Quinteros’s performance?

Millian sounded like a computer generated voice. The entire book was like listening to a text to talk app.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

If you are in the begging of your knowledge search this is a good place to start.

Good book, but needs a bit of improvement

Too many first letters of words got swallowed and the contents is probably too general for me, but it's a very good starting point to the world of Project Management.

Very broad and lacking depth!

It was good from the sense of outlining key components that are needed in running a successful business, but lacked the how to information that helps to one understand how task relate to each other and how successful processes are a constant work in progress.

General knowledge

This book lightly touches general topics with a very short and brief overview of those topics. I would venture to say that an individual with very little knowledge of how construction management works would benefit from this, however, if an individual has some amount of experience, this is not the book for them to further their knowledge.

Vague

This book needs a lot more substance. Very vague and missing numerous construction processes. Might be good for a home owner having a new house built, but not for someone doing the work.

The book is ok the narrator sucks!

This book is a good intro to the topic however, The narrator is awful he talks so fast that you don't follow most of what he says unless you're already working in the field and not using this book for introductory purpose.

I am researching career options and had to listen to this three times the narrator is the worst.
