“Consider my lap your throne. You can sit on it whenever you please.”

Getting passed over by women for his height and for not being “manly” enough has become the story of Malcolm’s life. He’s tired of it and just about ready to give up on dating completely.

What’s the point? He can’t make himself taller and being Mr. Take Charge will never be his vibe.

And not only is his romantic life in shambles but bills are piling up and now his awful older brother is getting married and wants to do a destination wedding.

Malcolm can hear his bank account crying already.

What he needs is a chance to just relax and forget his worries for an evening. What he doesn’t expect is for his giant of a boss to step in and help him out. No one has ever made him feel the things Bull does. He’s quiet and kind, and his eyes follow Malcolm, keeping watch over him.

Bull deserves a proper thank-you. Something that makes him feel as good as Malcolm does after their night out with Bull’s friends.

Something tells him one reckless encounter won’t be his last. Bull is about to change his life… and claim him for his own.

Are you ready for a quiet giant with a dirty mouth and an overprotective streak a mile wide, a lesbian best friend telling it like it is, a bi awakening that probably should have happened before the zipper came down, Ollie-sized cameos, and a very well-deserved nickname based on a certain appendage?

Grab Bull’s Boy and dive into this fun and sexy standalone novel set within the Leather & Chrome Universe!

Audio review update:

I received an ALC from the author and listened to the book super quickly. I love John Solo's narration and he's one of very few -- if not the only one -- I can listen to narrator daddy kink without feeling super awkward. I thought he did a good job with Malcolm and Bull and would definitely recommend. I didn't love the book *as* much this second time around, but that's mainly because a lot of spice in audio isn't my favorite thing.

Original review:

I have been really excited for this book ever since the author started teasing it. It has all my favorite ingredients, so I had super high hopes. It did not disappoint. I finished the whole thing super quickly, as I really didn’t want to put it down.

Bull is the gentlest of giants with a serious possessive and protective streak, and a dirty mouth that made me blush. I adored how patient and gentle he was with Malcolm during his sexual awakening. He had been pining for Malcolm for a long time, but was very careful not to make Malcolm feel uncomfortable or pressured, considering their boss/employee relationship. Plus points for that.

Malcolm tugged on my heartstrings. He’s not tall or super masculine, and had his self-esteem broken while trying to date women, so it was super sweet watching him soak up all the praise and lovin’ from Bull.

As per usual, Kiki Clark is one of the best in the biz when it comes to writing spice, especially dirty talk. And I’m always down for a sexually awakened character turned desperate bottom. It was definitely a high spice book.

My one critique is that I wish we got more of a background/explanation on Malcolm’s financial issues. Just existing is expensive these days, but it did seem and sound like there was more at play there. Since it was a rather big part of the book, some more information would’ve been nice.

I loved the cameos from the Leather & Chrome series, and the tiny Blue Collar Hearts cameo. You definitely don’t need to have read those to enjoy this one, though.

Thank you to the author for the ARC.

From the first encounter I was pretty much laughing! The way Malcolm and Bull end up in a relationship is just plain cute. But believe me it turns hot. I loved how kind and caring Bull was but then when they were alone, he was a naughty talker! I enjoyed that Bull was the one with the secret crush. It just made him even more endearing. So much protectiveness too! John Solo did a great job of bringing out the boy relationship as well as who each of them were as individuals.

Steamy Cuteness!

Bull and Malcolm's romance was a delightfully sweet read! I have such a soft spot for big, hulking guys who are total teddy bears on the inside, and Bull was fiercely protective and caring of his boy. At the start of the book, Malcolm was convinced he was straight and having an awful time with rejection from the women he tried to date. Little did he know, Bull was quietly looking on from the sidelines, not willing to screw up their working relationship by revealing his crush. After an especially draining night revealed Bull's caring affection, Malcolm's worldview began to shift as he finally opened his eyes to the man who'd been kind to him since the first day they'd met. I easily got invested in the buildup to their relationship, and Malcolm was adorably shy and uncertain when he first approached Bull for more. Once Bull and Malcolm decided to explore their chemistry, it was wonderful to see how naturally they fell into a sweet and steamy partnership. Malcolm soaked up every bit of praise and tender care that Bull provided, and Bull was over the moon with happiness at not having to hold back his instincts to cuddle and love on his baby boy. My heart was in a permanent state of "awww" as I watched the two of them fall in love, and their steamy explorations were especially delightful. Outside of some external tension from Malcolm's family, Bull and Malcolm's relationship was smooth sailing from start to finish, and I was thrilled by how happy the two of them were as they entered the next chapter of their lives together.

This is a darling read. I think Malcolm needs a new family!! Bull is a big man and love what he does for Malcolm. This has a couple different tropes and they are all great. I wonder who will get the next book?

John Solo blew these characters out of the water with his narration! As always with one of his narrations the characters truly felt alive with his portrayal.

Kiki Clark wrote another amazing story in the Leather & Chrome universe. Bull and Malcolm had an interesting start and I loved the progression of their relationship! It was so fun having cameos of all our favorite couples too!

Amazing!!

I found this book in July when it was first released by the author, and I fell in love. It's a sweet, easy read, with kink and sexuality discovery and exploration, but it's kept light with low angst.
The narration exceeded my expectations, and made listening to the story enjoyable and new, even knowing the story well from reading it 3 times.

Well narrated

Having been able to watch Malcolm for afar, Bull gets the surprising opportunity to become a friend when Malcolm is down and feeling alone.
Friendship blooms and passion is quick to ignite between them and for the first time ever Malcolm has found someone who sees the true person he is.

A story of firsts, acceptance, finding your person, pining and love.
There are cameos from previous characters, humour, banter, kink, family support and some family drama with a sweet HEA.
John does an amazing job of bringing these characters alive and keeping you engaged in their lovely story.

An absolute delight of a listen! I adore how Kiki Clark writes Daddy/boy romance and Malcolm and Bull are lovely together, I enjoyed this listen- zero complaints. These two were just so wonderful together, the narrator did an excellent job bringing their relationship to life. I love that this was an absolute love fest, no drama, no angst. The performance and writing deliver two lovely MCs, excellent spice, and excellent side characters. I also was thrilled to get a peek at the Leather & Lace crew as that is a beloved series for me. A great feel good listen, I smiled the whole way through.

Both main characters are equally strong, loving, caring, and vulnerable in their own ways. It’s a heart warming story of mutual support and love.
