Fell in love all over again

This is one of my favorite hockey series and listening to this audio had me falling in love with them all over again. The narrators did an amazing job bringing Jack and Mercy to life!

*Swooning* MM Romance

I giggled, I swooned, I most definitely blushed, and I may have even shed a few tears. This book was funny, entertaining, had the right amount of angst, and so, so spicy.

Joe Arden once again gave an amazing performance not only as Mercy but an entire family, including Theo, the cutest kiddo EVER. If you’ve never heard him voice a kid, you are missing out. It’s adorable. This was the first book I’ve listened to by Zach Johnson, and let me say, he was perfect as the arrogant but sweet Jack. Together, both narrators elevated this book to a 5-star listen for me.

Mercy and Jack; they were a whirlwind of drama and sex; like a lot lol This was a journey of healing, self-love and taking chances even when you feel down.

It was a cute story. Mercy is definitely what Jack needs to feel grounded, the sense of self, and to be loved the way he should’ve been. Jack is what Mercy needs and it helps that he is absolutely obsessed with Jack.

I read this as an audible and as with all books by Joe Arden, I was absolutely obsessed. It’s a nice change to read a book where he’s not playing the psychopath. Mercy has chaotic, crash out moments that Joe does amazingly. 👩🏽‍🍳💋 I think this is a first book by Zachary Johnson and I’m not disappointed, definitely fits the 26 hockey vibe. Pairs perfectly against joe’s Mercy crash outs.

The narrators did an amazing job!

Let me just start by saying that the narrators did an amazing job! I absolutely love Duet narrations.


This is my very first MM romance and it didn’t disappoint!
If you like sports romances ( especially hockey) you should give this one a chance.

Mercy is someone that has been surrounded by failed relationships. His father has had multiple relationships and no one has stuck around. He’s scared to hand someone his heart because he thinks no one will stay.All his relationships are extremely superficial and physical until Jack comes along. He actually thinks he’s going to just be another fling, but things go in a whole different direction!


Enter Jack, his partner wants him to just stay at home and he just wants to Play hockey. What’s going to happen when these two collide?! You’ll just have to read to find out 😆

I actually thought the side characters in this series were absolutely hilarious. Especially the part where they try to make mercy jealous 😂. It was overall an enjoyable audiobook and I look forward to continuing the series

Wonderful story and narration

MC’s were a great match and spanking kink portrayed with well, not overdone. Narration (by two of my favorite narrators) was great. Cannot wait for next one to come to audible.

I devoured this book. This was amazing to listen to Joe Arden (Merc) Zachary Johnson (Jack) did an absolute amazing job with the narration.. One night stand turns into new Hockey Coach.

A a wonderful, fun, and emotional hockey romance

I don't read often sports romance, and I know nothing about hockey, but I enjoyed this book very much. I was curious about the plot, it kept me reading, and the characters were wonderful. I liked both Jack and Mercy very much and I was impressed by the change and growth they went through. I loved that even though Mercy was the coach and the older one, Jack was the more confident one.

The audiobook for this was fantastic! This was my first time listening to Zach Johnson and he was incredible. He did an amazing job showing Jack's young confidence, and also - his emotions. On top of that, he get to perform through a couple of hockey games, and I forgot I wasn't listening to a real game.

Mercy is the older and more experienced one in the couple, with more responsibilities, but he also had a few very vulnerable moments. Joe Arden was amazing, his performance was beautiful and with so many nuances and layers. He also played Jack's ex, Rhett, and I loved the subtle ways in his performance with which he guided the way I felt about the character.

There were also many wonderful side characters that made the world and the story richer.

Really Good

This was a really good story with outstanding narrators! It always amazes me how great voice actors can elevate a story and this one is one of those times.
I fell in love with the Myer clan and I just love Jack and Coach together. I don't usually dig the spanking etc in these stories but this was done so well and it didn't go into a "lifestyle" type thing. It really made the spice,. spicier!
I love how possessive Mercy is about Jack. I really didn't care for Rhett or Logan but I would have loved more of the flirting Logan did to rile up Mercy.
I will be interested to see how the Logan and Rhett story goes since by the end I wanted to spin Logan around and send him out the door and I kinda wished endless diarrhea on Rhett but I get that he is supposed to be redeemed. I'm not super quick to forgive like these wonderful guys were in the book but I'll be in for their story to see how it goes.
S. Logan you are impossible to "follow" on audible. I clicked on the name and it brought up tons of titles. I went to the Amazon page to follow you in hopes I would be notified when new audios come out since it wouldn't bring up an author page for you. Hopefully that can be fixed.

So good! I fell in love all over again

Jack and Mercy are everything! I am in love with these two and their journey. Mercy is such an amazing brother, he puts his all into his family. I love his gruff, possessive attitude. I love his vulnerability. Jack is just so sunshiney and happy and sweet and makes me smile and laugh. I smiled so much through this story that my cheeks hurt! These guys just fill me up with love and happiness and banter. The audio book is amazing and the narrators do such an amazing job bringing these two to life and the many other characters. S. Legend writes such a phenomenal hockey romance story, she sucks me in and makes me fall so hard for these guys.
