So good

I enjoyed this book. The narrators were so good and the story line kept me wanting to know what happens next. getting next book in series.

Cliffhanger

I did like the book but wish some issues were not dragged out so long. Should of guessed it would have been a cliffhanger when I saw book # 1. Looking forward to the second one to find out what happens with main characters and secondary ones.

TOO SWEET FOR A MAFIA STORY

I'm on the fence about returning this one. I think a Mafia story should be dark(ish), gritty, suspenseful, action packed, and of course big bad delicious alpha males. This book starts out this way but very quickly turns way too sweet.

Example: Michael Tripp the alpha male only has sex with a woman that is relationship material (no man whoring for him) and then he waits 30 days just to be sure. REALLY!! He has morals and a good nature but he also has an illegal gun running business, hum. IMO his conflict with the Mafia and actions taken are weak. I will mention his love interest is Terra, the Mafia boss' daughter.

This series is a continuation of Michael and Terra's story. So there is a 'to be continued' at the end.

I think this would be a good book for people who lean more towards sweet and sassy than dark and gritty.

Jeremy York and Elizabeth Hart were a big reason why I purchased this book without any previous reviews. They gave a great performance.

Is it worth your credit? You will need to decide.

Good story but….

The female character got on my nerves! She was just stupid and irrational. I liked very few things about her. But I enjoyed the main male character and the story as a whole was pretty good.

SECRETS!!!

This story is jam packed with secrets and lies. It will make you frustrated but at the same time curious how things will turn out for Michael and Tera. Their chemistry is off the charts and their love is deep but it’s built on deception so will it last? On to book two…fingers crossed🤞🏻
