Entertaining read

I really enjoyed this one. It pulled me in from beginning to end and I really enjoyed the characters. I had fun with these two characters. I had an inkling on the twists from early on but there wasn't a lot that really gave it away and because of that I didn't know for sure if that was going to be it. This book has quite a few obstacles for our two characters. Ethan and Daisy are both drawn to each other but Daisy is closed off and Ethan is trying to figure things out. I loved how Ethan pursued Daisy and didn't just give up on things but he had a little bit of growing up to do as well. This story was well written and enjoyable. Baseball definitely plays a part in this story but it isn't a whole bunch either. The story is pretty much all first person and from Ethan's perspective the way through. I enjoyed watching both characters grow and figure out how to communicate better and work through problems in order to make a relationship work. The baseball was a great backdrop for the story and I enjoyed the dynamic that it gave as well.
The narrator did a good job with the story and adding that extra dynamic. With it just being Ethan's point of view, single narration by male narrator made a complete sense.

what a great baseball read. lived the storyline and the roster of full bodied characters. this book is a one click buy. so go ahead and enjoy, I sure did😉

The Renegades are my new favorite team.

I have read Third Base three times and it never gets old. I still cry for Daisy. I still scream at Ethan, I still miss John. I still love the series.

I first wanted to read this book because it had Ryan Stone as a character. I am addicted to the books, Lost in You and Lost in Us. He is GM of the Boston Renegades. He brought Ethan Davenport to series.

Daisy is a big fan. Every week she sits behind the visitor dugout and watches. When Ethan gets the chance he watches her. There is just something.....Thankfully Ethan finally makes a move by having an usher ask her to meet him.

The second year Renegade has game until he doesn't. Ethan detests the BoRe Blogger. He has it out for Ethan, finding fault with anything and everything. I will admit Ethan asks for it. Who gives out their address on twitter??? When he sees Daisy reading the blog his temper is out of the park. They are over.

Reality has a way of showing us what we are missing. Is it too late to get Daisy back? It seems that way until the ultimate grand gesture. Get ready to cry, because what Ethan does to get Daisy's attention--tears.

Too bad all good things come to an end. History repeats itself. Actions speak louder than words. Communication is key to any relationship otherwise you both lose and it shows. It wrenches at hearts. It influences games. You have to give a little to gain a lot. Hopefully it won't be too late for Ethan and Daisy.

I like the narrator but agree with a lot of issues with the story.. but what I just heard takes the cake! I’m almost 20 chapters in and he’s made several past social media faux pas and then has to take a media training class at the local college in order to be able to give interviews for his team. But he just admitted that he already has a standard COMMUNICATIONS DEGREE from the college he graduated from so that he would be guaranteed a broadcasting job when he retires from baseball. Does this author really not know what a communication degree entails or was she just hell bent on writing the dumb jock role? I’m still finishing because I want to see how the super obvious from the beginning twist is going to play out, plus I paid for this in an audible sale. Really wish this had a dual point of view because this writing style does not portray chemistry, just baseline thoughts from a spoiled male athlete perspective, but it’s already around 7 hours of listening and that’s more than enough.

It was pretty flat and dull. It was hard to see why the guy was such in love with the heroine. Good narrator but couldn't safe the day!
