A hate-to-love figure skating/hockey romance from USA Today best-selling author Rebecca Jenshak.

Rhett Rauthruss is a complication I don’t want.
The Valley U hockey star is newly single and has his sights set on me. He’s a walking, talking, charming distraction.
His attention is the last thing I need right now.
Not when I have so much to prove. I’m tired of the pity looks from teammates and coaches.
They look at me, and all they see is my broken heart.
It’s my senior year, and I want to prove them wrong and have the best skating season of my life.
I won’t let Rhett get in the way.
But when he looks at me…I feel alive.

I really enjoyed this overall. It’s your pretty standard new adult hockey romance, but I really did love the heroine and her disability.

Solid listen

Oh Rhett, we FINALLY got your story and it did NOT go the way I thought it would. How you and Sienna connected (collided) was a bit painful but magical all the same. Your story of growth and friendship? Even better. The mature adult relationship you guys have is amazing in my world full of dark romance and a nice pallet cleanser. 🤣😂
As the story unfolded we definitely dealt with that elephant in the closet from literally every book proceeding…Carrie, the (ex)girlfriend. How that all played out shocked me to my core. Did NOT see that coming. No spoilers.
The narrators did amazing as well. Both John Lane (new to me narrator) and Savannah Peachwood helped bring more depth to the story too.
All in all another great addition to this series, I remember thinking this one was going to be an emotional one so took a break after flying through the other books in this series and I was correct. I cried in this one. Super emotional and poignant and REAL…😮‍💨 I was not ready so brace yourself when you read, you will go on a right of faith, compassion, love, hope and determination. Yeah, this book had it all.

LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS STORY!!!
