Promise Me Forever.

As a divorced single father, I live by three rules:

1. Make sure every day my daughter, Paisley, knows she’s number one in my life. No. Matter. What.

2. Keep contact with my cheating ex-wife to a minimum.

3. Turn Maxwell Wineries into a legacy that keeps Paisley set for life.

When I hire Lexi to look after my daughter, I realize I need another rule: don’t pursue Paisley’s nanny.

But even if I had that rule it wouldn’t matter. Because I'm breaking it already.

Hold Me Forever

The last thing I need to do is fall for hockey’s sexiest bad boy.

Helping celebrities rehabilitate their image is my job, and I’m a pro. I don’t make mistakes. And I definitely don’t flirt with clients. Ever. There is just one little problem with my newest client.

Tyler Maxwell is every woman’s dream come true. He’s hot, protective, and so damn tempting—especially when he's coaching kids’ hockey.

Every time he flexes those muscled arms, I can’t help but stare at them. And watching a semi-naked Tyler swim in a pool is no hardship whatsoever.

But when he catches me in the act and shamelessly flirts with me, I realize I’m in over my head.

Show Me Forever

I moved to Chicago six months ago, determined to finally open my own bakery. My landlady was this sweet woman who treated me like her granddaughter. Then she sold the house. Now the devil himself is my landlord and neighbor since I live in the guesthouse on his property. Declan Maxwell is moody, unreasonable, and takes himself far too seriously. Unfortunately for me, he’s also damn sexy.

When he shows up on my doorstep in the middle of the night ordering me to turn down the music, I give him hell. We go toe to toe like this almost every night. The man is impossible. But here’s the thing. I need a place to stay while I save for my business and this place is a steal.

Then one day I come home injured from work and he surprises me by taking care of me.

And kissing me.

And just like that, all my best intentions go up in smoke.

Perfection 👌

The stories are good, as is one of the narrators. The male narrator somehow manages to sound incredibly bored and disinterested, even during the spiciest scenes.

Good but not great

Not my cuppa. I was looking for mystery and suspense , ended up with sappy bodice grabber.

Teen Love Story Fantasy.

Book one kept my attention. Book 2 and 3 were kind of monotonous and didn't have the full-bodied plot that book one had.

Book 1 is where it's at

If you are looking for fluffy HEAs, these books are right up your alley.

Nothing but fluff

I normally LOVE Jacob Morgan. But this time, the way he voiced the 9 yr old girl makes me wonder if he’s ever MET a 9 yr old girl. Like why does he sound like she’s 5 with a speech impediment?? Savannah’s narration was much better for the child’s voice. More normal. The rest of the story was good. A little predictable, but good.

This is a sweet series, I love the overall story and the family dynamics, the relationship with each brother and their SO is good and I really enjoyed how they developed they are fun and flirty with god narration.

Great Bundle

As romance novels goes, these are cliche and cheesy. The guys are all rich, "smoking hot," and "sexy." The women are strong, sunshine personalities with tragic backgrounds and money problems. They shimmy or dance way too many times. lol The steam is repetitive, and after the 3rd repeat, I started fast forwarding those chaptees. Why did I finish? The Maxwell family dynamic is amazing, and when they get together, they are entertaining and heart warming. There is an underlying family plot with Reese (cousin) and Gran that is very well written and made me stay until the end. Ms Peachwood sounds corny because the girl's dialog is downright corny. LOL

DNF-ing at chapter 30 (of 31) because I just can’t hold on any longer.

The women’s voice is nice (Savannah Peachwood), but I also hate how she’s voicing Lexi. I’m not sure if that makes sense, but it’s like she’s stuck between wanting her voice to sound nice, and wanting to just read the words, and trying to actually bring a voice to the character, like it’s a real conversation.

The man’s voice, of course is so good! There was even a point that I almost got teared up when he was voicing a dramatic scene. I think I’ll always be a fan of Jacob Morgan.

Here’s my thoughts while listening:
- Oh no, is the a babysitter/nanny story?
- Ages: Lexi 31 and used to be an elementary school teacher
- Height: Lexi is 5’8” and Tate is 6’3” ish
- The fact that Tate is confused about why Lexi wants a summer job for extra money, uh hello she’s a teacher you idiot. why do you think she needs the extra money? Really stupid storyline.
- I hate when people call pictures “pics”.
- The narrator says “what” like “watt.” And she really enunciates the TH in clothes.
- They’re moving too fast, they’ve known each other for like 2 weeks.
- Ugh is he seriously doing the “I’m scared we’ll break up in the future so I’m going to break up now”?
- Of course Lexi has a mini cooper.

It was all just too much too soon, I don’t like these Insta love “our love is more powerful than anything I’ve ever felt before” stories

Jacob Morgan’s narration skills were the only positive.

I can’t even finish the stories. I really like the actor Jacob morgan but the first book I could only get a couple chapters in. The relationship between the two main characters wasn’t working for me. Plus… if you are going to have two different actors in the book have them communicating… one of them the daughter sounds maybe 5 and the other she sounds nine. The continuity isn’t there.. but I was going to overlook that. The story just didn’t work for me.
