Robert N. Charrette is a member of the Society of Creative Anachronisms and the La Belle Compagnie. He has worked as a graphic artist, game designer, art director, and commercial sculptor. Other works of the author include A Prince Among Men and Shadowrun series.

Christopher Graybill has performed numerous audiobooks ranging from classic Westerns to science fiction, as well as hundreds of commercials and corporate audio narrations. He has also written two short plays, Eye to Eye and Go Look, published by Samuel French.

Better BT intro than Thunder Rift

If you ignore the weird transition sound effects, this is an enjoyable survey of key Inner Sphere moments leading up to the Clan Invasion.

If you’re into BattleTech this is a great book.

A great book for someone who’s getting into the BattleTech Universe and wants to know more about the Lore behind it all.

Great battle tech history from the Inner Sphere to the Clan wars and the etiquette involved.

Great reading and voice clarity.

The voices were very clear and masterfully done. I enjoyed all three books. I had read all these before.

I love Battletech

I've been reading the Battletech books for years. I'm glad they are available as audible books.

the Acceptance of Phalan

Overall great story. I used to own these book when I was in the Army. Fantastic read.

Disjointed

These three books were condensed so much they seemed to jump around. They were connected only in so much as character familiarity but in little else. If the full books are available they might be worth it, but this, not so much.

amazing set of books

they tell a great story only problem was the sound effects and music was sometimes to loud drowning out the narrator.

abridged stories!

Be aware: Wolves at the Border and Heir to the Dragon are both abridged in this set - I was really confused. I'll have to get the hard copies. :(

Nifty little tour of the Inner Sphere

enjoyed the shortenings of some of the more important novels of Battletech. but the sound effects were very distracting and don't seem to match even the 80's retro-future aesthetic.
