Publisher's summary

A Necrons audio.

Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner are opposites. Each is obsessed with their own speciality and their rivalry spans a millennia. Yet together, they may hold the secret to saving the necron race....

Listen to it because: explore a story told across the millennia that delves deep into a pair of fascinating necron characters, their relationship and their plans for the galaxy.

The story: before the being called the Emperor revealed himself, before the rise of the aeldari, before the necrontyr traded their flesh for immortal metal, the world was born in violence. Even when they inhabited bodies of flesh, Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner were polar opposites. Trazyn, a collector of historical oddities, presides over a gallery full of the most dangerous artefacts - and people - of the galactic past. Orikan, a chronomancer without peer, draws zodiacs that predict and manipulate the future. But when an artefact emerges that may hold the key to the necrons’ next evolution, these two obsessives enter a multi-millennia game of cat and mouse that ends civilisations, reshapes timelines, and changes both forever. As riddles unwind and ancient secrets are revealed, the question remains: will their feud save the necron race or destroy it?

Written by Robert Rath. Narrated by Richard Reed.

Incredible story telling, and fun listen too.

The dynamic between the two main characters was so fun and interesting. I’ve never been a huge fan of the Necrons, but this book just engages you. This multi millennia rivalry was humorous, complex and full of twists and turns. Give it a shot.

Bout time the Necrons get books for their lore!!

this book was amazing. Richard Reed is astonishing in his reading as always, but the story is what drew me into this book. like all the reviews before this one, what they say is true! for all intents and purposes, it's two very much immortal beings trolling each other across several millennia. It is a comedic side of 40k that I usually only glimpse from the side of the Orks. definitely worth a listen! two thumbs way up!!

Listen as two Old robots fight for a mcguffin

This is an original and good story, if you understand anything about warhammer 40K pick this up.

This is a good place as nekrons are the oldest of the races and pivotal to the story.

excellent story spanning the ages

a wonderful narrator able to skillfully preform the wide variety of accents found in the world of 40k bringing this most petty of rivalries to a glorious stage.
