Excellent start

Wonderful pacing and progression with a likable MC and solid system. It’s a great story and the narrator does a great job delivering it. This series has the potential for greatness.

Old formula but still engaging

It’s easy to get jaded and dismiss the tried and true littpg formula. That would be a loss for this book. The mc was great. He was vulnerable enough to be relatable but advanced through grit and toughness. All in all an enjoyable listen

Really solid start to a litRPG series

This story really moves, especially in the first section. I had trouble putting it down as Ike constantly juked while trying to stay alive, progress, and pay off his debts.

Reminds me of 1% Lifesteal but more polished for a first entry. can't wait for #2.

Fantastic Magic System

So far I am loving this story. The characters, their motivations and their flaws seem believable and both the main character and supporting class are enjoyable.

The plot moves along smoothly, and it doesn't feel forced when certain characters like or dislike each other.

Finally, the magic system is fun. The cultivation of power makes sense and is fascinating to learn about, you are given enough information to understand and enjoy what is going on, and further mysteries are hinted at in ways to keep you on the edge of your seat.
