If only it were that easy. Humans are considered one of the weakest sentient races, confined to their patch of land but that hasn't changed their nature as they fight amongst themselves forced to split their sources of power instead of unite for the greater whole. In order to see the entire vast richness of the world, Ajax must battle for his life and respect, gaining levels and forcing the other races to acknowledge his and humanities worth.

Really good book. I have one small pet peeve.

The story is good progression. And the world seems neat with its magic system and overall level up system. I'm unsure if the author is or narrator is trolling us though. The plural of deer. is Just deer. NOT DEERS. Everytime he says deers it grinds me so bad. lol. To many years of hunting with my dad.

Stats stats stats

There’s about a 5 min long stat run down(I’m on 2x speed so holy hell) every two or three chapters it seems. An exaggeration but one that’s deserved. And also if they have a female narrator on the book why is the male narrator voicing so many female sounding roles, like the system is obviously female sounding but had the male narrator do an annoying performance rather than a normal decent one using a male sounding voice, or just use the female narrator for that part. And the story doesn’t seem to have been run through an editor and it shows with plot points sort of just popping up and not, especially the romance that just got dropped and tagged as a friends with benefits, while the author propped it up to be a more major thing in the beginning with how she stayed by his bed for so long while unconscious. Idk it’s good just a bit lackluster and could be great which is what bothers me the most

Good book but to many stats... less stats please. The story itself is interesting and I'm going to try the next book.
Narration was awesome!!

A very enticing story!

A great story that hooked me in. Unique to a lot of isekai style stories. Fun world building!
One thing of note. Like the majority of authors making their series with levels and skills their first books always have a small issue. This book does have the same minor issue of overloading and overdoing the skills listed when talking about minor changes. Easy to hit skip a few times to past it. Don’t let it bother ya as the story is well worth it and I’m sure the author fixes it in the next book.

Listened on 1.1 to help balance the slow girl reads

The guys voices are the only ones that are easy to listen too. The girls sound like they are reading unknown words for the first time.
Biggest issue is the constant slow reiteration of all the skills just to say he gained 1 level. Hopefully that’s fixed in the next book.
The story is really good though.
