It was Good!

This installment was good not as great as the last one and felt rush with the new realm and town building mechanics. But it was need for the next book so I’m hoping on that so will see if the next book keeps the fire of anticipation like the rest of the series did!

Grandfather Gallows

I do wish, more of the legendary Grandfather Gallows had been explored. Nick had a lot of resentment but I feel like if he had known certain things about his grandfather he would have understood more. I know, I know, that's not what the story was about and I still loved it regardless!

Excellent

It's been awhile since I've returned to this series. Very enjoyable with solid voice acting. I have book 7, but will wait on the final book to finish the series.

Change of pace

A bit of a change in direction with this book. I feel like this plot shift has some endgame implications. The ending was a bit cliffhanger-y but the story is interesting and I’m excited to see what happens next! I really appreciate the dual narrators. I feel like it enhances the experience.
