Returner's Defiance

Five hundred years of fighting demons and humanity has been pushed to the brink of extinction. As the last bastion of the remaining humans is shattered, Bran Heros, the Wandering King, decides to enact a last ditch effort.

He’s going to send his soul back in time to two years before the demon invasion comes to earth.

This time when the demons first come he’s going to be waiting. He might not be as strong as he was in his past life, but he has something far more important. He has time to get ready for what’s to come and the knowledge to take advantage of every second.

Bran is going to use his second chance to gobble up resources and make himself as well as those he chooses a force to be reckoned with.

For now, that means starting all over at level one again.

I'm developing a real taste for Bruce's work.

Excellent new series. A great premise for the story. I enjoy the story, the characters, and the narrative. The Bubba likes it! Do Recommend!

Great but lost a star for how the booked ended.

Won't go into spoilers, but I'm questioning the whole family relationship because it seems extremely poor. Every interaction with his mother is like nails in chalkboard, especially at the last part of the book where the MC who's been very reclusive about his ability decides to show it off to someone he doesn't trust and has had no relationship with whatsoever.

If I had one recommendation to the Author it would be to tighten up in aspects in regards to his family and their personalities.

Excellent book solid characters.Good pacing a story Loveling and classes are very easy to understand draws you in to the book Very solid can't wait for the next book..

If it hadn't been for the other books of the author, I might have past this up as this theme has been used alot but he has very good good stories, my curiosity wanted to see what he did with it...

i love it. plain and simple love and addiction, the character's are awesome, the personalities are fun and interesting and it provides a nice change of pace from Ard's Oath. I do like syssy and find Bran's insane behavior very amusing and very interesting. good start to what i can see is a very interesting series.
