my favorite series hands down

love the concept and genre, has great pacing and character development. I really enjoy that the spicy scenes are limited. I hate when a book will introduce a character and like 2 minutes later it's a spicy scene. this series does a great job at building the relationships. I'm enjoying the new narration especially for Des, Bruce is the best of the genre but I'm definitely bias but he also makes up the bulk of my library.

New VAs are a better combo

Lots of mixed opinions on the VA change, but in my opinion Chris does a much better Ken and I felt more connected to his character than I did when it was

There is a fair complaint that Jessica’s character range is not as impressive as Rozelyn (you will hear similar character vibes between this and Dragon’s Justice and Ard’s Oath), but I found her performance is great here.

Writing

I personally liked the writing displayed in the book. It’s got good detail and keeps you engaged the whole time

Fun and well crafted

Great characters, not excessively spicy, very funny, well paced, enjoyable read. Fantastic narrators, Jessica Threet is my favorite. Read e book 1st, audio book is better.

Great RPG story

I like it great RPG story and DND style story, MC definitely has plot armor but i enjoy this story and the voice actors as well. Going on to DD-102
