She's a bunny. She's a girl. And she's going to evolve.

Elise was always made fun of for her big ears and buck teeth. She tried her best to overcome the mockery, only to work herself to death and wake up as... a big-eared, buck-toothed rabbit.

Now, with nothing but an almost worthless System Assistant to help her, she needs to survive in a world full of magic and monsters. On top of all that, for some reason she's been given the ominous [Mark of Fate] skill. She has no idea what it does, but things keep happening to her, most of them unpleasant. From little slimes to giant wolves, everything seems to want her dead, and in her efforts to escape them, she winds up in a complicated situation that she is in no way qualified to resolve.

Can she navigate this new world that seems to have it out for her specifically?

I really enjoyed the characters in this story. The original concept had me thinking the protagonist was going to spend much more time roughing it out the forest, but I really enjoyed the way the story went. Lots of politics and intrigue, but not so complicated you couldn’t keep up. Interesting evolution choices.

I get particularly annoyed when characters don’t make obvious choices, and that only happened once in this story for a minor plot point and there was a reason not to do it. I consider that a big win for good well thought out story telling and a protagonist that doesn’t fumble there way through a story with some broken “cheat skill”. On that note the character has a special skill but it doesn’t seem stupid overpowered, at least not yet.

The story leaves plenty of room for more books, which I eagerly anticipate.

Loved the Characters and Voice Actors.

This was a really good book, so good that i regretted listening to it before the next one is released. Voice acting is really good, and the story itself was interesting and captivating.

Great Story

The story is a bit slow in the sense its not all about fighting and leveling but also about the world around the MC. 10hrs left and I can definitely say this is one of the better performances I've listened to and I have over 500 titles in my library. Definitely will keep an eye out for the names of the narrators in the future.

Overall it was ok. Don’t get me wrong, the performance was peak and I loved it. But the story just wasn’t all that exciting. There was to little adventure, and the MC acts like any other typical young woman, so in short she didn’t capture my interest.

This book is a masterpiece, but it’s lacks that addictive quality that makes you just want more. It’s like baking the perfect cookie and some how leaving out the sugar.

Fantastic execution, but sadly not very exciting.

Great story, great narration. The depth of Emilia's homicidal tendencies I was not expecting. Girl made the Trojan look like an appetizer in comparison to the conflict she started and maintained for centuries just to gain experience. There are only a few antagonists I've wanted to see dead as badly as I wanted her gone. Author did a great job with the overall story but especially with creating her as the villain.
