Elise was always made fun of for her big ears and buck teeth. She tried her best to overcome the mockery, only to work herself to death and wake up as... a big-eared, buck-toothed rabbit.

Now, with nothing but an almost worthless System Assistant to help her, she needs to survive in a world full of magic and monsters. On top of all that, for some reason she's been given the ominous [Mark of Fate] skill. She has no idea what it does, but things keep happening to her, most of them unpleasant. From little slimes to giant wolves, everything seems to want her dead, and in her efforts to escape them, she winds up in a complicated situation that she is in no way qualified to resolve.

Can she navigate this new world that seems to have it out for her specifically?

Great story and messaging - really well performed.

Both story and performances were engaging and thought provoking. Some clever twists and turns and well reasoned moral dilemmas. The main character is thoughtful and smart. A lot of fun to listen to!

The guy who gave 2 stars, no...?

I'm sorry that the Mc is a good person who wants to prevent death and is not a psychopath or a sociopath????? Yeah the Mc does everything in her power to stop deaths. (not going to spoil how) That is not a bad thing????

A fun tale

This was a fun book. The story was enthralling and kept my attention the whole time. SBT’s performance of it was great.

Well Written but Not Fun

If one were to judge by the title, one might expect this to be a somewhat lighthearted romp of a story, but instead it was a masterwork on sociology and psychology. The characters were actually too well written because, given the circumstances the MC finds herself in, a little comic relief might have been nice. The book is well written and the plot was well thought out, but unfortunately it was also a very unfun, uninteresting story. We spend most of the book with the MC stuck between two groups of people that hate one another and each side thinks the other are merciless animals, and in a sense, they are both right about that. Of course, very few people are actually pure evil, so we see the good sides of each group as the MC spends time with them. It sounds all nice and stuff when you say it like that, but in reality it's just a slog with no real payoff.

With that said, I'm still cautiously optimistic of future books. Like I said, the author is quite skilled and has tons of potential. I just hope they remember to put some things in the next book that are actually fun and enjoyable for the reader. I really don't want to feel like I just read a social studies text book next time.

Mind bogglingly good

For a book I was reading cause it had a funny title. It blew me away with the emotional moments as well as the cast and voices. The whole story is well thought out with characters that make you feel a sense of empathy for them as well as how funny it can be sometimes.

A well-rounded LitRPG

First of this is completely my type of a audiobook, but still found it interesting.
Would listen to book 2.

The story is well-rounded and has a lot of unpredictable plot points which are great.
Evolution system is also interesting and there's a lot of mystery behind the system itself.

If I had to say something I didn't like as much that would be the parts where the MC did not understand the language spoken, but the MC does learn the languages as the book goes on.

Finally!

Finally someone answers one of life's most important questions! What happens if you wake up one day and have been turned into a magical bunny. I have wondered this for so long and have finally gotten an answer!! Thank you to the author. Now I can move on to more mundane ponderings.

Really fun and engaging story with a good pace. Good progression of the main character with interesting support cast and good world building. There was a really good depth to the story that's not that usual in LitRPG. One scene at the end left a tear in my eye. Narration was excellent. Can't wait to see what happens next to our little Bunny girl.

When can I get the next one!?

Very fun listen. l Amazing characters brought to life by even more amazing voice talent. It wizely puts tlstat sheet readouts into separate chapters and tells you to skip if you won't want them, very refreshing after a few previous reads.

it feels like I'm a spider so what but sloweded way down and with far more interesting stakes and players in motion.

So far the world explored is small but w the glimpses of what are out there are tantalizing, I cannot wait for more.
