Best deck building story yet. It has several small things storyline wise I didn’t love but I’m an easy reader and rolled with and enjoyed them.

Why are there only two?!

I need more. Great series, only wish I had found them in the future so I’d have more books to binge! I’ve read most of the series in the LitRPG genre and this one is excellently written.

Fun book!

I enjoyed listening to this book. It’s not as emotionally weighty as Will Wight or Brandon Sanderson, but it is still an awful lot of fun!

Great all around. I really enjoy the MC. He's not a pushover or an A-hole. Not. genius but not stupid. Can't wait for the 3rd book

Growth comes in many forms

It definitely is interesting and we see it throughout the entire book. Arthur is carded and those cards and classes are changing him. Thieves grab power and do not stop, and throughout he is willing to take risks to get more power. Takes a daylong beating just to be able to level a skill. Manipulates people into giving him cards. Those cards further changing him. He is constantly cognizant of that fact but doesnt understand the true effects. Some of the reviews speak ask why he just doesnt train skills forever. Well. That would be a bad book and it would call him out, and his thief class never wants attention.

Book 3 will be interesting because now it will be known that his two legendaries are, but he is a formal member of the kings retinue. Protected, yet not.

Fun series. Would recommend.

Honour Rae keeps the amazing story of Arthur going in an action-filled adventure with awesome progression and great supporting characters. Luke Daniels hits the performance and narration out of the park! I cannot get enough of this story!
