Publisher's summary

There’s only one thing worse than your fiancé dying….

Having to look into his face every damn day. Or should I say the face of his twin.

So I left.

I never knew promises were made. Then broken.

And I surely never expected those promises to be about me.

When I return to my hometown and see his face, the heartache I’ve been running from is front and center. But it becomes harder and harder to keep hating the man who looks exactly like the man I loved.

Bring your hanky.

Loved this one so much and the ending was joyful, tearful, painful. Sometimes there are characters that own you, and they steal your heart and become your family. Masterly performances by Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood.

Super Cute

DESCRIPTION:
Coop and Chaz were the best of friends. Not only best friends but identical twins. They wanted to be adventure tour guides. 4 years later and Chaz had passed away leaving behind his fiancé Serenity. What happens between Coop and Serenity was unexpected. There are secrets that Chaz was hiding from his family that no one new about.

MY THOUGHTS:
This was a cute book. I loved the unexpected twists that Samantha wrote into this book. The ending was super cute!

Cooper and Ren, Chaz and Cody

Cooper and Ren
Great story and even though part of a series I read as a stand alone. Cooper and Chaz are twins who love adventure. One day that goes wrong and tears apart many lives. Both Cooper and Ren run a way separately to handle their grief. 4 years later they are thrown into each other’s lives, like it or not. I love this story and really like Cody as well. There is romance, grief, slight angst and surprises. I will need to get to know this family more. Narration was totally on point! I highly recommend this book. Sisters Spotlight 💕

This one was just right...

When I selected this book it was for two reasons initially...the author and Teddy. I've probably read and or listened to everything Ms. Christy has written including the Mitchell Sisters and loved the Stone brothers. I thought this might be a disappointing story about twin brothers who loved the same girl but it was more than that. There are twin brothers..and a girl and so much more. Cooper is the surviving twin who blames himself when he lost his twin brother.. The story also takes you back from time to time to some of their high school days and you get to know and understand why he was so reckless in some of his life decisions. Early on the story has lots of angst and Serenity, the heroine, even years later still has trouble getting past her loss. Then her father gets ill and home she goes having to deal with a face she doesn't want to see because of the pain she's been holding onto. Finally the story lightens up a bit and new characters are introduced. He has a sister with a wicked sense of humor and positive outlook considering some of the things shes had to deal with too. There's a rivalry with another family in their small town although its really only a background storyline. Then there's an adoring little boy in the story I fell in love with. Overall pretty good with unexpected surprises in the story and a short but sweet epilogue too. Enjoy...

Great story!💜

This story was well written with tons emotions & family drama.
It was also full of charm, romance & heartwarming moments. I teared up more than once. Serenity was really starting to piss me off but then her attitude changed and I liked her again. When I grow up I want to marry a man like Cooper 💕. Overall this story is really going to stick with me as a reminder that life is too short.
The narration was absolutely brilliant. The performances were heartfelt and emotional. Well done.
This is book 3 with an HEA and can be read as a standalone.
I recommend this book.

Overcoming Grief

Serenity was engaged to Chas who died in a tragic accident while on an adventure with his twin brother Cooper. Their grief was so bad Serenity ran to Alaska and Cooper decided to risk his life even more by doing crazy adventures. When he is injured he is forced to come home and deal with the last four years of running away. Serenity’s father needs surgery and she is forced to come home and run the family business. With these two working together will they be able to let go and see they are right for each other. I loved the twists and turns of this book their were serious issues both Cooper and Serenity had to overcome. Loved all the characters will definitely listen to more books by this author.
