Quite a good hockey romance book

This book was well written. Very relatable characters. Good plotline, with a pretty good antagonist. Should make for a good series to read.

I don't know if it's only me, but I feel like the anger is misplaced. He was suffering, and she got mad that he wouldn't take her V card and jumped into someone else's bed. She walked away from him and the storyline is all about her being mad at him and him trying to make it up to her that he hurt her. What?! He hurt her by not chasing her after she broke up with him? That's bull. If anything, it should be her apologizing for not recognizing his suffering and breaking his heart. And on a side note, female narration is confusing because sometimes her male voice is higher than the female voice, making me question who said what. EDIT After completing the book, I will say that it got better the deeper you got into it, but it took a bit to get there. Good book overall but it was tough to get through some of my own hang ups

I didn’t like the female narrator because her voice didn’t differentiate enough between the male and female character

Enjoyable

The story kept me engaged throughout. I did quite a few binge listening sessions. The story was believable. The characters were likable. It’s worth the time to listen.

Very Hallmarkish

Story is okay but way too fluffy and Hallmark like to actually relate and connect with it in any real way.
