Publisher's summary

I woke to the soothing sound of a peaceful serenade...except there’s nothing peaceful about being kidnapped after being sold to the Devils of Sin.

This never should have happened, because I did everything right. I accepted the invitation, attended the masquerade in the depth of the forsaken forest, and danced with whomever requested. The longer one remains, the more debt is cleared from the family name, so I danced through the night.

I survived to the final note—and let me emphasize the survive part—but I’m starting to realize where the real problem lies. I didn’t dance with one suitor...I danced with five Devils, and each immediately laid a claim on me.

Joaquin. Talon. Dagger. Croix. Creed.

Now, here I am, kidnapped and held for ransom by sick men with bigger debts and troubles than my bankrupt family and their dark organization combined.

But I’m no damsel in distress; I’m actually stalling. There’s a rumor that the Devils of Sin are dangerous men of royal stature during the day, and ruthless monsters in the peak of the night. I want to see them again…to touch and enjoy the illusions that left me panting for more.

I’m willing to enter the den of monsters to escape the true demons lurking in the shadows of desperation...in exchange for my freedom.

Den of Monsters is a steamy reverse-harem romance filled with possessive monsters who have a hint of psychosis, a badass FMC who may be even crazier, and loads of "bump in the dark" heated scenes that will make one blush in public—literally. This den of sinister monsters can do various "things" with their bodies, so be warned. All sexual encounters are, however, consensual.

Good... Until the End

I won't spoil it, but the final chapter ruined it for me. Before that, I loved the story, laughing out loud and enjoying the erotic scenes. But the end made no sense.

great narration

really loved the voice acting on this one!
only issues were the banter between the main character and her friend always saying b**** to each other. some of the detours in the plot messed with the flow as well. but the story was different and refreshing idea.

Great story

Great story but it felt rushed at the end. I had to listen a few times to make sense of things. It was explained but it wasn’t at the same time. I read that there will be a second book for these characters so I hope that some of the gaps will be filled in. I would recommend this read but maybe wait until book 2 arrives.

good story

this was an interesting story. But a bit of an abrupt ending. it built and built and built and then it just finished in what felt like 10 pages. left me feeling a little bit disappointed.

Well acted and a great listen

Both narrators were excellent and really helped bring the book to life. The flow of the book was written well, but stumbled a bit at the end.

Amazing

This book was amazing I couldn’t stop listening. It would have been great if Gregory Salinas did more narrating then the little he did but it was still a great book. I can’t wait for the second book.

So great lead up but

****may contain spoilers ****This gets a 9/10 from me. Here’s why. It had an amazing lead up and I do love a good twist ending but it needs to go into more depth and feel less rushed. And that orgy should have happened ;) . It just seemed like such a good long detailed book but it had a deadline so it was rushed. And more POV’s from the guys would have been cool. On to the pros I really did enjoy this story line,It wasn’t some lame bully crap and the fmc was cool. A Harley Quinn type. There was an ok amount of spice, somewhat multiple pov. And it had male and female narrators. If the next book comes to audible I’d listen to it. One big positive for me,the guys didn’t overtly treat the fmc like a position that stuff Icks me out.

Enjoyed it but some characters felt neglected

First off, the narration was excellent. The narrator's really brought out the personalities of the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the premise of this story. Psychotic men and an equally psychotic female lead is my bread and butter. However, I was disappointed with the lack of fleshing out the other four men. The author seemed to mainly focus on Talon, who I adore, but I really wanted more insight into the twins and Dagger's characters. You only get a few insights into the twins, Dagger, and Joaquin. It left the story lacking. The ending also felt extremely rushed and very little was explained. I know there is a sequel to this coming out but I feel that a book that was over 800 pages had plenty of opportunities to flesh out the characters more. I will be reading the next book when it's released. I am hoping that more will be explained and that we will get to see more POVs from the other 4 men in the harem.

Awesome Storyline

The storyline and premise are amazing, but some of the writing is repetitive and boarder line fanfiction (maybe the author doesn't use English as a first language?). Definitely read the triggers before you start! Overall a very intriguing book, and I will be waiting for part two in the series!
