Loved!

I really enjoyed this whole series so much. I’ve been under the weather and unable to do much so this series made time fly for me and was something to look forward to each and everyday. I hated to see it end. Really enjoyed how everything was wrapped up neatly in the epilogue since I’d grown to love these characters. Definately gets 5 stars from me!

Great Book

Really entertaining! Loved the EMP story line. Plus I got the 6 books series for 1 credit!

Could have been so much better.

I tried very hard to like this series but while it was an ATSHTF story it was a little unrealistic (not that I have been through anything like that). This story was written through the eyes of a liberal woman’s eyes. Had she done half of the stupid things that she did in a real oh crap situation she would have been dead. As for Wyatt… for supposedly being an ex navy seal he was pretty worthless. First of all any self respecting seal would have some decent weapons and have a good tactical mind. It seemed like he went along with the woman even though a real seal or someone with a brain would have stopped her in her tracks. The story could have been so much better written but the narrator was very good.

Needed more research

Too many incorrect military terms, equipment reference, etc.. Drives veterans nuts and it's a short trip.

Not the best.

Hard to get past some errors. For instance, calling a CME, event an EMP event throughout the book. A clear dislike for certain guns. So much more. Overall a hard listen.

Great series

Couldn’t help but to get caught up in this series. I laughed, I cried, I listened with eager anticipation as to what was going to happen next!

Interesting storyline

I liked the storyline but almost quit the book several times . I found the main character to be arrogant and unlikeable . Her I can do it all attitude got old in a hurry . Way too much physchobabble which made the story drag on too long . I normally like this author just not this time . Albert was a real gem though ,had to love him .

Great if your 14 years old.

Overall, the story idea was good. The performance was fantastic. However, the protagonist brings the whole thing down. Her inferiority complex and extremity low self esteem make for an annoying listen. All she does is blame herself and whine about everything while making codependent decisions that screw everybody. The language is very politically correct and coddling. If I was 14 this would have been my favorite series, because at the end of the day, everything ends with hugs and rainbows and a happily every after. Got a junior higher? Then this is the perfect read. As for me, I had to skip through the last book because I couldn't take the whining anymore.
