Make America Great Again

I enjoyed the series. I interesting characters, strong storyline, good resources.
I enjoy Post Apocalyptic stories that center on survival and rebuilding. The author brings out all sides of the struggle to survive. Physical, Psychological , Spiritual.
Good read!

I learned a lot from this book that I feel will come in handy one day.

Good Story! Rushed Ending

It was a good story but felt a bit rushed! Dont know if the author got bored or was trying to hit a time constraint!

Not surprised at all

It’s an alright story…. I am not surprised by the cartels running things when SHTF or the drug running. It is good to read that the main family lived… loved their multiple places and setups as well.

The DEA gal keeping her cover for 3 books. Very silly. I would have shot her after the first lie.

Good books and great series. The snakes were insane. Lost of great indormation. I would have smoked the dea team after their first lie.

Another good post apocalyptic story by AJ Newman

This is my 2nd series read by Newman. Rating would have been higher but I find the narrator’s intonation really annoying most of the time, especially in the first book.
The story line is good, and I could hear a lot of similar themes and ideas from his other series. There is definitely the need for “suspension of disbelief” by the listener, but there is always going to be that with most fiction. A lot less than what is needed watching most overly CGI thriller movies nowadays!

Loved it!

I liked the characters. It does have a lean conservative, if you don’t mind that. It has a lot of prepped info., which I liked.

violence, guns and ammo

Mainly violence, guns, ammo, bad guys and an abundance of supplies so far. Why read or listen to?

Engaging, excellent book

Very approachable book with stories of real, resilient people using ingenuity and strong values to overcome drug gangs and other dangers. The box set had great continuity and keeps you wanting to read more!
