Nowhere to Turn

I thought the book was really good. It had good characters that meshed together well.
However, the person reading the book was awful. I am so sorry to put that so bluntly. But I will never listen to another book that she narrates.

Needed better narration

I almost stopped listening at 30 minutes and returned. The narrator was a bit over the top and annoying. The southern accents were hideous. Once I got past my annoyance, I enjoyed the storyline and evolution. I would have definitely given a much higher rating if not for the narration.

The story line is pretty good. The narration is probably the worst I have ever heard, though. Her voice is grating and just unpleasant to hear. She enunciates her T's in a very annoying way. she pronounces "nuclear" like nuclear. and the word "cache" like "caysh" where it should sound like cash. Unfortunately that word appears about 200 times in the text. And her theatrical performance is abysmal as well. I will definitely avoid books narrated by Stacey Upton in the future.

Story Great - Should’ve Hired a Narrator

Story very interesting. Wish the authors chose a professional narrator rather then one of the overly nerdy, overly annoying author.

The book was excellent I loved how all of the characters came together. I felt as I was in the story with them.
