Great book all around...
My only complaint is the use of the term assault rifle that's a made up term and it shouldn't be in these types of books.

everything about this book was great

this is a great story with a superb narrator.. of course it is RC Bray my favorite. the character development is well done. the description of the tactics and attitudes of the Rangers and the Black Squadron were engaging and well thought out. not sure what the author's background is but he seems to command a good knowledge of military weaponry, tactics and ethos and does a great job using them to tell a great story.

Unnecessary sub-sub plot

Put politics into a useless sub plot that ruined the story for any future readers

Excellent book

Really enjoyed this book. Not quite like Arisen, it definitely has a different pace. Starts of quite slow but quickly picks up pace. Perhaps a bit short, 9 hours isn't a lot for a good audiobook. One minor gripe is that the rangers are portrayed as not super professional and kinda childish. From what I know the actual rangers are very much professional and highly regarded. Curious if there will be a second book. Would definitely buy. If you're a fan of military fiction, you can't really miss this one. R.C. Bray does an outstanding job as always. Can't go wrong with that man :)

Black squadron

I like storyline. Don’t know our helicopters could be nice out of the sky like that.
 we need to work on that. The president storyline with some media. Rumor was interesting how you tied it all together

Kickarse Wankfest

MSF writes kickarse combat stories. RCB’s narration is kickarse. If you like that there combo then you’ll dig Black Squadron.
My only gripe is with the rangers wanking themselves hard over the guys in SEAL Team Six. I’m not in the military, however, I have many friends who are — from MPs and dog-dolphin trainers to rangers and SEALs. I’ve heard rangers speak of SEALs with only the same respect as SEALs speak of rangers. Warriors of their strength and merit are as fierce as fierce gets, regardless of which branch they serve. But, MSF impresses godhood on the SEALs and makes the rangers seem like piss-stained privates who bow to their awesomeness. Nevertheless, the story is well written, well narrated, and packed with action. Enjoy!

No zombies but still badass.

i kept waiting for the dead to rise or a virus to hit but no just some good ol fashion ass kicking high level shooters going crazy an having justice served.

Fast paced action unexpected storyline

I wasn’t sure how this was going to end but it wasn’t how I expected. If you know Fuchs writing and enjoy it you’ll enjoy this one. Unless you’re a huge Trump fan I guess. Even though trump wasn’t actually named in this book once a lot of people in the one star section seem to really be reading a lot into this book.

For shits and giggles check out the one star reviews, there’s a lot of people really mad about someone who wasn’t even named in the book once.

Despite a few minor misunderstanding of how the Rangers work it was a terrific story.
