Publisher's summary

From USA Today best-selling author Rachel Grant comes a sizzling romantic suspense where a damaged hero’s search for missing girls endangers the one woman he can’t live without.

Chase Johnston is leading a double life. After two years of psychological torment, the quiet, highly skilled Raptor operative now has a darker side, and he’s hellbent on bringing human-traffickers to justice - using any means necessary. The only relief he finds for his troubled mind is a woman he’ll never meet in person.

Eden O’Keeffe is also leading a double life. By day she’s a grad student and barista, but at night she sits in front of a camera and provides companionship for those seeking entertainment, titillation, or simple conversation. She enjoys the freedom of being a siren online, but her secret career comes with risks that force her to hide her true identity at all costs.

When Chase walks into a coffee shop and comes face to face with the one person who makes him feel again, it seems his long nightmare may be coming to an end. But in entering Eden’s world, he’s bringing that nightmare - and the danger that comes with it - to her doorstep.

Super hot

I loved the storyline with the virtual online sex. Rare for romance and sex positive. Great characters too. I recommend you start at the beginning of the series. This is the most recent

A sensuous love story set within a complex plot.

Everyone knows I love Rachel Grant's stories and finally we get Chase's happily ever after! I've loved this guy ever since he appeared in INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE. BROKEN FALCON is a sensuous love story set within a complex plot. A must-listen for Romantic Suspense fans.

Thrilling, sexy, and psychologically intense—I loved it!

Chase is a broken and tortured hero—possibly one of the most broken and tortured heroes I've ever read, written as only Grant could have done it, and I'm so thrilled that he got such an epic happily ever after!

In Broken Falcon, Chase gets super into Eden’s camgirl website. She is perfect for him—she’s an amazingly strong woman who gets through to him in a way others cannot, and a survivor just like he is. Eden brings Chase out of his shell and helps him to see the strength that he has deep down.

Needless to say, this book is sexier than most of Grant's work, but it seemed so fitting for this particular hero and heroine…honestly, I loved all the hotness, and I was absolutely on the edge of my seat, waiting until the moment when they would meet in real life. Itwas all the explosiveness I’d hoped for, And the suspense aspects were absolutely first rate. I am really enjoying this series lately!

DNF - TERRIBLE

I was so looking forward to this audio, but it was a great disappointment. More voyeurism than romance. Made me very uncomfortable to read/listen and that is BEFORE getting to the chapter the author said might be a trigger for some. Not worth continuing - asking for my money back.

Disappointed after waiting for something great from Chase’s story

The first 9 chapters need a serious rewrite. I’ve read the entire series and this was without a doubt the least favorite, and most poorly developed. It’s like some cheesy porn writer wrote the first 9 chapters before any plausible character development began to advance the complex plot that wrapped up a story line through all 10 previous books. Had to listen at double speed until the plot actually engaged. Author’s warning re sensitive subject matter should have warned not against handling of subject matter, but against the ridiculous dialog and plots flaws of the first chapters of the book. No way would 2 damaged souls be so oblivious to red flags and danger. Hoping subsequent books focus on character development that’s congruent with the storyline. Author phoned this one in. And Rachel, please stop writing plots letting brilliant women do totally dumbass things. It’s insulting and unimaginative.
