Publisher's summary

Ryan Parker had always loved Sienna Ashton, but gave up on his fantasy years ago. After working as an undercover FBI Agent in Los Angeles, Ryan gets a phone call telling him to come home to the small town of Keeneston, Kentucky. The woman he thought he was over is now in serious trouble.

Sienna Ashton fell in love with Ryan Parker too late. He was gone from her life before she realized what he really meant to her. Now working as a sports psychologist, Sienna finds herself helping others figure their lives out. She thinks her chance of happily ever after is long gone until a murder brings Ryan back into her life and entangles them in a battle for their heart and their lives.

Ryan and Sienna discover there is more going on than originally thought, and now the two are in the fight of their lives. It doesn't take long for fireworks to ignite as passion and danger drive the couple toward a fate they never saw coming.

Mayberry Romance...lol.

Ok you ever see those small town shows where everyone knows everyone and there is a cast of quirky characters? yeah that's this book. I was hella entertained. I was utterly disappointed that the very first sex scene between the characters was behind closed doors. it totally went fade to black and they woke up the next morning. I was seriously like WTF!!!. The other sex scenes were glossed over as if the author wasn't comfortable writing them. If you don't like or aren't good at writing sex scenes DON'T TRY TO DO IT!! I would have preferred them not be in there than have them done poorly.

On a better note, if i could live in this town i totally would....lol.

Story. 2.5 (not a solid 3 because of the piss poor sex scenes)
narrator - 3

Cheesy Story. Great Narration though!

Geez this is one of the cheesiest books I have listened to in a long time and it was really hard to get though and finish. I really think this Bluegrass series has run it's course and is starting to feel like Deliverance.

The romance portion of this book was just dull, boring and cheesy. The story line and plot were stupid. The aunts, uncles, sisters, mothers, fathers, grandmothers, in-laws, etc., wielding weapons and ear coms to save the heroine was just too much and too stupid.

The entire town seems to be related in some way or another, hence the "Deliverance" reference.

I am absolutely done with this series. ugh! Kathleen Brooks Women of Power series was so much better, its hard to believe it is the same author.

As for the narration, it was fantastic! I love Eric G. Dove. He is a wonderful narrator. All the women sound like women, the men sound sexy. Everyone gets their own distinct voice and his reading voice is amazing. I highly recommend the narrator. I cannot recommend this cheesy, nauseating story.

So good to revisit Keeneston and all the familiar characters. There has been growth but not so much in the way of community, family & Friends, love & support.

Ryan & Sienna, in the way of many people, had to back away from each other to fully recognize what was there for each of them together.

Audible Escape

I have a membership with Audible Escape however some of the books in a series are free but then some of them you have to buy. I think if they are going to be in the Audible Escapes then they should all be free in the series not just some of them! I really like these books.

The Keeneston Kids Grow Up

FBI agent Ryan Parker has grown up loving Dr Sienna Ashton his whole life. Now they were in the middle of intrigue and murder. Chasing the culprits leads to both of them. Will they finally connect? All the great quirky characters and romance. Recommend Series. Great performance.

Silly

This story was too silly, the overall storyline was sound but the involvement of the family and town people was unrealistic. I enjoyed a couple of her other books but I will not be reading others.

Unrealistic

I never rate books, but this one was so terrible that I felt the need to share my review. The entire story was unrealistic with the townspeople helping them solve the mystery and everything about the whole story was ridiculous.
