Scary storytelling that gave me chills!

I read this book in text before I listened to the audio book and the narrators really enhanced the thrill of the stories for me.

I particularly love Kelsey Hatch's energetic but low and scary tone. Her narration of Polter Geist by Jen Ellwyn and Brisket Please by Becca Rose was so good! I can tell she has a theatrical background.

Douglas Leo Freeman's warm timbre was soothing between the horror. He does a great old person voice in The Figure in The Mirror by Brandon Prows.

Dallas Terry's voice has chillingly deep quality and I loved the voices he used for Pond Scum by Alex Child. That was one of my favorite stories, and I think about it everytime I see a body of standing water. His voices for The Last Light by B. Todd Orgill were hauntingly perfect as well!

RJ Walker accentuates his words and values diction in his speech, which I really appreciated. The voice he used for the antagonist in Crimson Snow by Austin Slade Perry was so spooky!

All in all, I loved listening to these short stories told by so many different authors and read by such a great plethora of voice actors. I look forward to future audio books by Collective Tales Publishing.

Excellent!

I enjoyed the voicework and writing. The tales start and finish strong! Very creepy! The compilation itself works well and the stories dovetail from one to the next very well! This is my first experience with the "Collective" series and I'll be back for the other samplings the publisher offers!
