Sean was just waiting for his best friend to show up at the bar so they could play some pool. It came as a shock when the tall blonde man accosted Sean and demanded that he change seats. His refusal would change his life.

When the fight ended, Sean found himself in the strangest meeting of his life. Odin, Archangel Michael, Lucifer, and Morrigan all vied for his soul, each offering different deals. Sean had to choose, so he chose to go with the goddess of Fate, Death, and Battle.

Placed on a new world, gifted with a new body crafted by the gods, and more gifts from other deities of the Tuatha De Danann, Sean now has the chance to live out a new life on a new world. Not everything will be sunshine and roses, however, in this world ruled by the Summer and Winter Queens. He learns quickly that words have power in this world, and that Agreements are binding.

Sean has his work cut out for finding his place in this new world.

Best female narration I've ever heard

I'll start with the narrator. She is my absolute favorite female narrator, and the only narrator I like more than her is R C Brey. She can do some of the best masculine voices (for her gender), and has a vast array of female voices that are truly unique. 10 out of 10 for narration.

The story is also quite good, however I do have a few gripes. Mostly I just felt the book was either too short or not enough was really happening, there is too much of the same ole same ole. There are also parts I felt could've been shortened greatly and others that I'd like to have seen fleshed out. I'd still like to point out I loved the story and am greatly looking forward to the next. I also like the fact that even though the sex in this book is extremely limited, the author still put a great deal of effort into writing the parts where there is and didn't over or under indulge the audience in it. I'd give the author a 8 of 10.

Very short

I prefer the first book in a series be longer.

While I find several of the contrivances trite, there's a lot to like. The nature of the MC's gifts is interesting and different, and there's more humor than I expected.

I loved it

Ive read this book many times and love the world building. This book has one of the best openings, the first few chapters had me hooked. Loved the narrator, great story,and the way the story blends classic lore with modern knowledge is amazing.this book made me a huge fan of all work by Daniel schinhofen.

Enjoyable story

This is technically a harem novel, but it's hard to tell that it is - even by the end of the book, there's really just a hint that could happen.

What's this new shiny object?

The story is the story. It's an addiction that once started is almost impossible to stop. Andrea give an excellent performance as usual. Every character has their own voice, their own nuance of speech that makes listening an addictive joy. When the ebook first comes out I actually read it with the voices Andrea creates in my mind. I can only say "Hey you with the confused look in your eyes. Come join me in one of the best addictions ever. I promise you won't regret it!"
