Has this writer ever met a woman?

The love interests feel like badly-written characters for a dating sim.The main character did very little to earn the attention of all the women. There was no sense the women were competing against each other for the attention of the main character; even in polygamist relationships women will compete for the attention of the partner they share. The fact that the female characters are just f***** dolls for Fantasy fulfillment kept pulling me out of the story.

Chaotic Good at it's Finest

A main character that's gotten his hands dirty. Is willing to get his hands dirty for what us emotionally correct if not legal. How far would you go if someone hurt a child that was dear to you? And I mean hurt bad? I know how I would answer, and this MC has that same dark rage. Nit a saint, but defiantly a hero.

Narration is a good fit, character development is spot on. This is worth either the credit or the $$ for it.

I am eager for book 2 when it eventually hits Audible!

Annoying protagonist.

I may have rated this book a little better had I not read further in the series.
I hate this protagonist. Really, hate him.
Alburrit is a good guy. We know this because he killed a bad guy. The bad guy was on the way to his trial, but ...Who needs due process? Alburrit is a super awesome ex prison guard with a superiority complex and an unhealthy obsession with his friend's kid. He loves ladies with daddy issues, and for whatever reason they love him. Much of this book is just people being horny, and the protagonist thinking about how hot these ladies are. When they are not reflecting on their hornyness or having sex, they are engaged in cringy dialogue or lamenting the text-book abuse from their pasts.

This first book in the series is decent. The best character is a crazy imp minion named Bob. The protagonist also ends up on a mysterious quest to complete an armor set that will turn him into a demon lord. This was interesting enough to keep me going.

If the author were smart, he would cut out this trite crap and make Alburrit find out that he killed an innocent man. Then he would let Bob the imp rebel and become the master. I would prefer that he burn anything that ever had anything to do with this terrible protagonist and make a new series about the misadventures of Bob the imp.

Don't go past the second book in the series. I ended up going further because I mixed it up with a similar series...twice. Successive books get exponentially worse. I understand that someone worked hard on this, and hate giving this bad review, but here it is.

A little to sexual,

The book was pretty good and I enjoyed the fights and interactions, just could have toned down the sexuality a bit, it becomes apparent later why one of the characters is so raunchy, but up until that reveal it just seemed to over the top and graphic.

Enjoyed the story, but could’ve done without the sex scenes

Maybe it’s just me but the sex scenes kind of pulled me out of the story and made the MC and supports seem more one-dimensional. Loved the LitRPG elements though!

I do like it but..

MC comes off a bit sleezy, although by his backstory you know he’s supposedly a decent guy.

The fantasy of women throwing themselves at him comes on fast and doesn’t have too much build up. It just kind of happens.

I like the attention to detail regarding game mechanics and specifics. So long as the story continues to have this level of depth, the sleeze can be dealt with.

Such a good book for game lovers!!!

I listened to it in less than 2 days! I just couldn't stop! It was so addictive.

long book with not a whole lot happening.

good book, great subject, awesome reader. the only downside for me was the about halfway through the book the progression really starts to slow down. there is much more character relations. what surprised me was there was a little bit of erotica that I was not expecting. if the rest of the story plays out this way there could be 6 or more books.

latter update: the next books are more romantic than i would like. gotta live how romance isn't a category, but this story revolves strongly around it. book 4 ends up being more love and lust than adventure and mayhem.

Good book for adults

Be warned adult content above normal. “R” SEX and strong Language. The story and world are well defined.

Unexpected moments

the story was fun and solid. the character development of the main character was light. would have liked to know his backstory a bit more before diving into the game.

I didnt like the erotic scenes very much. while decently written they seem to drag on and away from the main story.

this was my first litRPG experience outside of SAO and Ready Player One. the stat blocks are Interesting to hear.

I did have some nostalgia moments from when I played mmo games. if the AI in the game described in the story ever becomes real heaven help us.
