I like plants

I am a horticulture buff and love plants and flowers and thought this would be cool

it is different and it does honor the plant world in LitRpg style with a few minor caveats. Repetitive naming and numbering of various scaling benefits and skills etc can be very annoying.

I will buy the next book in the series though.

Entertaining and factual

A surprise to hear factual informaton about botany and mycology. But also combines a badass cat friend and a penchant for hermitdom in an isolated forest setting. I'll say it's a win.

Surprisingly good

I liked the unique class. It did feel like things were going out of their way to make the class OP. The MC and her family are interesting and I want to see more of them. I also want to see worlds collide with the secondary MC. But those are for future books. The plot of the book was well contained while leaving plenty for the future. The narrator did a great job.

Excellent MC

A MC that isn't grinding for power to become stronger or to save the world, just doing so because the System forces it, she wants to be left alone to do what she wants to do, and to protect her family. She isn't perfect at everything, but she also isn't so inept that she stumbles into power via plot armor. Also, I'm also interested in the side characters, especially Brexit.

I like it

Somewhat a slow burn but it pulls you in. Like how the story is told and Reba is amazing as the narrator. Can't wait for the next one.

Will try next book

Enjoyed the protagonist. Nice to have an MC that’s not just a muscle head. And cat side kicks are always appreciated. Look forward to the next book too

This was a good story which I have very little to complain about the MC can be a little frustrating at times but that's it i enjoyed my time with this one.

Loved it 😍

A serious take on how plants can dominate a magical world. The protagonist is a sarcastic ball of unyielding will. Overall if you love protagonists that grit and get through everything the universe has to bear and offer at the same time choose this. Plus a house cat turned feline sidekick/body guard and a purposefully snarky system. I love this combination. Can’t wait to see how our second protagonist ends up in the next book as well. I’m interested and not annoyed about having to share book time with them. Can’t wait for book two.

Not the brightest bulb in the box

You might think a botanist would be smarter than this sadly you’d be wrong in her case so many obviously poor choices and more whining than anything else.

Great unique story

Unique magic story with growth and progression without pages of useless stats. MC grows and faces challenges with set up for more advancement and story growth without being over powered, lucking into just the right thing to get out of a impossible situation, no harems, and no pointless profanity trying to build emotions in a story without enough character development to make you care. So yes I liked this story for as much of what it is as I like it for what it isn’t just to many adults trapped writing like they are still teenage hormone jobless children trying to write the life they wished for into existence which lacks entertainment value.
