An excellent start to an interesting series!

Incredible world building and balance between the comedic moments and character development, excited to listen to more when it comes out!

Great story that avoids some common pitfalls

The story does a good job of pacing and world building. several time I thought "ohh, here we go, cringy trope incoming" but then the story actively avoids the frustrating trope.

From the start this book is hilarious! Awesome combat and interesting level system! The story is truly unfolding as the MC learns more about this world he wakes up in! Can’t wait for the next one!!

Solid read!

Fairly quick pacing and world building. Leaves something to desire but feels like it’s a prep book for future books in the series. Is it the next DCC or “He who fights with monsters” no. Is it a solid read with unique magic system yes. Plus there’s an Oompa Loompa reference
