Publisher's summary

The Argeneaus are back! New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands returns with another sexy, passion-filled romance about everyone’s favorite vampires.

Immortal Enforcer Valerian just wants to relax. His last assignment had been more grueling than he’d care to admit, and golf has always helped him unwind. If golf course owner Natalie thinks it’s a little odd for him to tee off at sunset every evening, she’s keeping it to herself. The single mom is sexy as hell, and her little daughter Mia only adds to his delight. He knows Natalie is wary of a relationship of any kind…what will she think when she discovers he’s an Immortal? His best course of action is to woo her the old-fashioned way.

But the course of true love never did run smooth—especially for a vampire and a mortal. And when danger stalks Natalie, Valerian realizes he’s playing a game of life and death and if he loses this round, he risks losing her forever.

liked all but the end

I wasn't happy with the end there wasn't closure with the first wife she should have given her back what was rightfully hers

So-So

I guess I can say that this book was just. OK. After all, I listened to all of it but if I missed some dialogue at times, I didn’t need to go back & pick up the missed parts. The immortal was kind of wussy - he wasn’t well-developed. The female was a little more developed but I didn’t have strong feelings for either character. I’ve hit a run of books that have failed to excite me & I would’ve returned this one bc it was so staid but Audible cut off returning my credits for these so-so books after I returned several. Oh well. At least the narrator was fine.

entertaining and awesome as usual

I enjoyed this book as I enjoy all her books I really didn't see the necessity of the f word other than that it was well done interesting and entertaining the characters are well thought out and human for the most part although someone working that much and just walking away without a fight was kind of surprising and a little unbelievable I wish there would have been a scene where Natalie talked to Sheila

Engaging and fun

The heroine Natalie and her daughter Mia is so cute and her LM to be Valerian is she amazingly sweet. Add on a engaging yet sweet cast of characters. This is a feel good story you don’t want to miss.

Great!

I love Lynsay Sands. This was so good. Can't wait for the next in the series to come out! This is also my favorite narrator for her books.

Not as good as the last, however…

It may not be quite as good as the last, but that’s simply because I happened to predict the villain before it became obvious.
However we found out who the villain was pretty much immediately in the last book, so I can’t subtract a star for that. Regardless, it was still a quality addition to the Argeneau series. Also really loved that the immortal was so good with and considerate about the child of his LM.

As a single guy in his mid 30’s, most women I meet are single mothers, and it’s nice to see those types of potential relationships in novels.

If only dating were as simple as finding a LM like the Argeneau’s! Lol.
