In addition to having received the National Readers’ Choice Award for Best Short Contemporary Romance, renowned author Kathie Denosky has been a Romance Writers of America Golden Heart finalist twice. In One Night, Two Babies, heiress Arielle Garnier is expecting twins. Having not seen the babies’ billionaire resort owner father since their blissful seven-day romp, Arielle is shocked when Zach shows up at her office without warning. But despite Zach’s offer to marry her, she wants something more.

The story: it would have been nice if it was mentioned somewhere before I started reading, that this is actually the 4th or 5th book in the series. Towards the beginning it doesn’t mention it as often but about half way through the story mentions multiple times about the h’s other brothers that have already been paired up, and the journey in finding her family (that obviously doesn’t take place during this book). The h is a doormat the majority of the book, she doesn’t put her foot down when the H insists on something she doesn’t want. Her brother and the H completely railroad her and she barely stays angry much less does anything about it.

The audio: I would listen to another performance by Felicity Munroe as long as there are no accents involved. Her country twang was really over done. That’s my biggest/ and pretty much only complaint about the audio.

I had to review this book because the female lead made me crazy, SPOILERS Any man who gave a false name and knew that a condom had broke should have given the woman he is sleeping with his real name. Even so I enjoyed the writing and the story somewhat ,and the narrator did a good job as well.

Well I guess the old saying goes you can't hide a pregnancy. Zach sees a picture of Arielle and makes a phone call to find out about her pregnancy and it doesn't take him long to figure out the baby could possibly be his. The story is predictable, but the journey is quite interesting. Thoroughly enjoyable, light fluffy reading. Nice chick lit.

Narrator did a fine job. No complaints.
