Another Homerun!

Loved it! J.R. Ward did it again! I love her writing style. I love Jim Frangione. I love Jack and Nyx. I felt that the story made perfect sense. Ive read some reviews that some didn't like the beginnings of Jack and Nyx but insta-attraction for the males is part of their makeup when it comes to their mates and also as the story unravels....anyway... if you are a true fan of J.R..... IDK how you could ever doubt her ability to weave a beautiful love story out of the darkest depths.

Another great story!

Nyx goes looking for her sister who was sent to prison 50 years ago. When she finds the entrance to the camp, she has no idea what she’s in for. She runs into The Jackal early in her search, and he does what he can to help her find out what happened to her sister.

I really enjoyed this book! I’ve seen mixed reviews on it, but I’m a true JR Ward fan and am a definite Jim Frangione fan. (Pretty sure he could read me the phone book and I’d be happy listening!!)

Another Outstanding Performance By All

So glad the storyline continues. JR you continue to outperform yourself. And Jim you are the life of the story with your narration. It would not be the same without you. It is wonderful to see all Brothers of the black daggerhood intertwined in this new offshoot series. This first book is centered around Nix & Jack (The Jackal). Nix has spent over 50 years looking for her sister who was wrongfully (?) put in prison. She finds an underground prison not far from home one night and and with possible intent of finding her sister and bringing her home. And there she meets Jack. There is plenty of action twists suspense mystery and romance. So awaiting the next book. JR please make it a long one and write fast.

This new chapter in the brotherhood is amazing. loved every word. Jim made it all the more amazing. Can't wait for the next book, omgosh what a thrill.

it was almost a DNF but I pushed through

This wasn't my favorite JR book. I stopped and started many times but I was actually happy with the ending and glad I finished it.

so enjoyed this book.

I had an idea of what the book was about. I was wrong. it was better and I never knew what was coming next. kepted me intrigued through out the entire story.

Such a different setting, but with the normal friendships and relationships. It was nice to learn more history about the house and Darius.
