Find affirmations to build a positive outlook on life!

Research indicates that a negative attitude impacts your health and well-being. In particular, negative beliefs regarding aging are linked to neurodegenerative disease.

We all have negative associations regarding aging, but a positive attitude can improve our quality of life and extend our lifespan. Rewiring your brain for positive thinking means you approach life's challenges in more practical and productive ways.

What is an affirmation?

Affirmations are an example of "reprogramming" your brain into thinking more positively. Positive thinking can turn a negative outlook into an optimistic attitude. Affirmations refer to positive mental well-being and self-empowerment based on the belief that positivity promotes success.

Specifically, an affirmation is a phrase or statement that should be repeated and written down to empower you with positive thoughts.

Affirmations reprogram subconscious thought to promote ourselves, the world, and our role within it. Such positive daily affirmations lower stress levels and boost self-esteem. The affirmations can be general, religion-based, or bespoke to each individual. The overall rule in that the statements are positive and promote a positive attitude toward life.

no help affirmations

Maybe these affirmations will work for SOME but they're totally useless and somewhat depressing so far. Like grateful for my family .....they're gone via cancer and suicide, so thanks for reminding me what I don't have!
