Publisher's Summary

He's addicted to booze. She's addicted to sex... staying sober is only half the battle. No. More. Sex. Those are the three words Lily Calloway fears the most. But Loren Hale is determined to be with Lily without enabling her dangerous compulsions. With their new living situation - sleeping in the same bed, for real, together - Lily has new battles. Like not jumping Lo's bones every night. Not being consumed by sex and his body. Loren plans to stay sober, to right all of his wrongs. So when someone threatens to expose Lily's secret to her family and the public, he promises that he'll do anything to protect her. But with old enemies surfacing, Lo has more at stake than his sobriety. They will torment Lily until Lo breaks. And his worst fear isn't relapsing. He hears the end. He sees it. The one thing that could change everything. Just three words. No. More. Us.

For the most fulfilling listening experience, the Calloway Sisters series should be listened to along with the Addicted series.

Really????

Well I almost gave up on this one. Lily is so unbelievably (I hate to use this word) stupid that I couldn't take it. The choices she makes, make me cringe. However I do realize this is a series about overcoming addictions and growing and maturing. She is only 20 but I don't think I was ever around anyone as immature as that at 20. At the end there seemed to be some improvement I had decided I was done with this series but I think I will finish it out.

LOVED IT!! LiLo forever

What made the experience of listening to Addicted for Now the most enjoyable?

RE-READ via audio (2/26/2015)! Putting voices to Lily and Lo brought a whole new experience to this book. Even though I've already read this book I never expected hearing it would make me LOVE IT even more.

Gah, the voices were spot on and made me feel like I know the characters even better. I gained an appreciation for Jonathan Hale while listening to Lo talk about him. The first time I read it I'm not sure if I fully grasped how much Jonathan loves his son. But this time around my heart squeezed as I listened to Jonathan's love for Lo, even though it was pretty corrupt.

Listening to Lily share her feelings made me tear up. The emotion in her voice pulled at my heartstrings. Listening to Lo's determination to be the guy Lily needs had me swooning for him.If you've read this book then consider taking it to the next level and listen to it. And if haven't read it yet enhance your reading experience by listening to it. ADDICTED FOR NOW audio was EXCELLENT!

***5 Addicted Stars***

"Whatever happens,we're in this together. You and me. Lily and Lo."
She is my past, my present, my future.

All six characters are back and they are battling a big roadblock that revolves around Lily & Lo. Lily and Lo are reunited and are forced to face life without being addicted.

But a wrench is thrown into their plan when a person decides to out Lily's addiction to the world. The mystery around who this person is and the motivation for wanting to destroy this couple was very intriguing. I guessed all the way to the end who it might be and why they wanted to hurt this couple.

ADDICTED FOR NOW offers a dual pov. Being inside of Lo's head was fascinating because we got to hear his private conversations between him and his father AND we got to learn what was on the Lily's blacklist.

Emotional and Addicting

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

YES. The Addicted series is by far my favorite new adult series but Addicted For Now was the first book in the series that pulled me in completely. The story is unique and captivating. The characters are amazing and easily stole my heart. Actually listening to these charactesr come to life had me drowning in feels.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lily Calloway. Her POV chapters are always my favorite. She's adorably awkward and can be so amusing when she doesn't mean to be. She's the kind of character you want to mama bear and protect from the world.

What about Charles Carr and Erin Mallon ’s performance did you like?

The emotion. Erin Mallon and Charles Carr did an excellent job in bringing my favorite characters to life. Even how they read for secondary characters was wonderful.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. It's also one I would listen to again (and again).

Any additional comments?

Listening to the banter between characters was by far my favorite part. I had to work really hard not to laugh out loud and grin like an idiot since I mostly listened to it on my way to class and during my study breaks. I failed a good number of times.

ADDICTED TO THIS SERIES

I love this whole series. Lo and Lily are just one out of of the 3 couples that I can't get enough of. This series is about love, heartache, addictions, family, the struggles celebrities face, the ups and downs of being in the media, having every single thing you do or choice you make scrutinized and so much more.

Finally back together!

LiLo is finally back together and that makes me happy! And I was so happy to finally get Lo's pov. Even though they're back together, that doesn't mean things are easy. These 2 are still fighting their demons and addictions, but they're doing it together, and with a great group of friends to help them along. And in this book they need all the help they can get, considering they're now having to fight someone threatening to expose Lily's addiction.
With this book you begin to really see the start of this family being in the public eye, and how invasive it/they can be.

I like seeing the different relationships developing and growing closer, especially Ryke and Lo's. Rose is such a strong character, a great one for Lily to have on her side. I really love how supportive everyone is for each other, even sharing the tough love when needed.

These books really live up to their title, as they are certainly addictive! Now on to the next!

The narration is good. Both narrators did a great job bringing these characters to life.

Krista and Becca NAILED IT!!

This series shows how two addicts can be each other’s rock. It shows how they lean on each other for strength while they learn to fight their separate demons. I love when an author can make you laugh, cry and become as emotional as the characters.

Lo & Lily

3 stars for the narrator still not big on dual narration but these narrators were ok enough to listen to.
3.5 stars for the story. We are back with Lo and Lily as the try to navigate their lives with addiction. Lo working on staying sober fresh out of rehab and Lily try to cope with her sex addiction now that Lo is back. Staying clean becomes harder when someone is threatening to reveal Lily's secret.

I am obsessed with krista and becca ritchie!

I am obsessed with this world that krista and becca have made! I have read the kids books first and am backtracking now. I love the core six so far! Admittedly I was a little frustrated with Lily at one point, but it didn't last long. I am so excited to dive into the other couples books!!

still in love with this series!!

I loved this book!! it was great reading about Lo and lilly building their relationship without their addictions overwhelming them! I just love these too!!
I kinda wish there was more discussion about Lillys revelation about why she is the way she is. I think its vital to the story, and I think it would Lo immensely if she confronted it head on, maybe he could confront his own childhood too then.
I did not figure out who the black mailer was right up until they were revealed so that was a nice twist!
Of course it leaves off theres much more to this story but I like how these books don't end mid sentence! you get enough conclusion to remain calm and get to the next book!
I also have to say I absolutely love these narrators! It was exciting to get Lo's POV too! All good stuff, worth your time money credits all of the above!!
