Publisher's summary

From Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author Devney Perry comes a small-town sports romance.

Crew Madigan is a snowboarding legend. He’s gorgeous, rich, famous, and every woman’s dream. Well, except mine. I’ll take a nerdy guy with a clumsy streak who wouldn’t know what to do with a pair of skis to save his life. Superstar athletes? No, thanks. World champions? Hard pass. Crew? Definitely not.

It’s been over a decade since Crew set foot on Madigan Mountain. Instead of sitting with his family during his brother’s wedding, he takes the chair beside mine. ESPN really doesn’t do that chiseled jaw justice. The cameras miss the flecks of gold in his eyes. When he invites me to his hotel room after the wedding, I break all of my own rules for just one night.

But here’s the problem with just one night. Crew is impossible to forget. And he’s not the only one who loves a thrill. The crash, the broken bones, are inevitable. Because together, we’re a little too wild.

Beautiful series.

I love this collaboration of authors Sarina Bowen, Rebecca Yarros and Devney Perry. A Little Too Wild is the last book in the series. The characters are wonderful, the story deeply rooted by love and family. Raven and Crew have great chemistry, lots of laughter and history. I love how the three brothers slowly repaired their relationship with their father. Beautiful series, worth listening/reading.

Perfect conclusion to the series!

“A Little Too Wild” was the perfect conclusion to the Madigan Mountain series. Crew and Raven’s story was a sweet, emotional and steamy story that wrapped up everything so beautifully.

Just like his brothers, Crew Madigan has been avoiding coming home to the Mountain for years. But when he’s invited to Reed and Ava’s wedding, he decides to come home just for that and leave. At the wedding he runs into his best friend’s little sister, Raven. Raven works on the mountain as a ski instructor. The two have an instant connection and decide it’s going to be a one time thing. But as things keep happening to keep Crew on the mountain, it quickly develops into more.

I was hooked from the very beginning of this story. As the series developed, we got to see more into the Madigan family and what happened. It’s a sad situation but relatable and I loved that about this story. Crew and Raven had such great chemistry and I could feel it as I listened to their story. Nothing happened between them when they were in high school and I’m so glad it didn’t. Crew needed his career and Raven had to grow before they could find each other. But once they were together, they were each other’s support and backbone. The epilogue to wrap the series left me with a big smile on my face.

Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin were so great as Crew and Raven. This story has a lot of emotions and they did a great job bringing all of them to life. I love listening to these two co-narrate together.

Love and the Mountains

Loved this book, easy read without too much drama. Jason Clarke awesome as always and my new favorite female narrator Venessa Edwin! She narrated without excessive drama in her voice, no enunciation unnecessarily. Well written story about brothers and their families. I enjoyed it!

Wildly fantastic!!

I quickly flew this entire Madigan Mountain series. These Madigan brother's definitely learned to love wildly with every breath they have. Crew is the youngest Madigan. He was only 14 when he lost his mom. He suffered living at home with a mentally missing father and one slightly older brother to take care of him at 16. Somehow all three Madigan men made it to adulthood and were each successful.  Their family lives didn't exist and they all avoided relationships. Crew is finally going home for Reed's weeding, after at least a decade of being gone. He avoids his father like the plague during the wedding and reception which is when he sits down next to his best friend's little sister Raven. He had the biggest crush on her growing up. Crew and Raven can't seem to get enough of each other but they know thyre on borrowed time. Crew will be leaving and she'll be staying. Crew's brother's want him to come home. To work for the mountain. But Crew is stuck in the past and never living on Madigan Mountain again. Will he let all his chance at love go just to stay of this mountain??

Devney Perry does it again. She delivers a story that I rapidly flew through. Perry build her characters just so... you feel like they're real and you're listening to their real life dramas unfold. I can't be the only one telling my kindle/phone what their next step should be. I love it! To me, that shows the essence of an amazingly, talented author. Someone that creates this world, these people and transports you right on to Madigan Mountain along side the main characters.  I'm sad the series is over and would happily read more about this cute little ski resort. The narration by Vanessa Edwin and Jason Clarke were sensational. Both Edwin and Clarke brought these characters to life. They gave them the pulse of their character's life. I could listen to them on repeat and never get bored!

All the snowboarding and spice!!

Wow, wow, wow! I had no idea what to expect for the youngest brother, Crew Madigan, but this book completely blew me away! Crew is a professional snowboarder but came back to town for his brother, Reed’s wedding where he saw Raven, his best friend’s sister. Raven wasn’t interested in Crew as she doesn’t want a professional athlete but the electricity was there when they danced so why not go there. “Crew Madigan wasn’t boyfriend material. But he might be just perfect for a one-night stand. We’d have a good time. Then he’d vanish.” The plot that then ensues is so well written and had me hooked on these 2! It’s a brothers best friend troupe with lots of snowboarding, is completely intriguing with unexpected twists and of course has all the spicy romance throughout the whole book! You’ll be completely addicted to Crew and Raven as you turn page after page during this captivating story!

“My body ignited, just like it did with every kiss. A rush. A thrill. It was the same jolt I felt racing down a mountain or dropping into a halfpipe. Adrenaline junkie. Crew junkie. Same thing.”

Jason Clarke once again did an incredible job narrating another Madigan brother! Add in the amazing Vanessa Edwin and it was a fantastic duo for these characters! Their narration was so enjoyable and pleasing for this incredible story and is a performance I’ll be listening to again and again!

Loved Crew and Raven so much!!

A Little Too Wild by Devney Perry was an emotional and heartfelt best friend’s little sister romance that snowboarded away with my heart! I have loved each and every Madigan brother, but Crew might just be my absolute favorite! Crew and Raven’s romance was the perfect ending to an amazing series that gave me several blushes (grab a fan), left the biggest grin on my face, and had me happy sighing that everyone finally found their very own HEA.

Vanessa Edwin and Jason Clarke narrate this audiobook, and I love it when these two are paired together. Vanessa’s voice is always a sweet, decadent treat! She portrayed Raven’s passions, hesitancies, and determination as she put aside her fears and finally went after what she truly desired in life: snowboarding and Crew! Jason Clarke narrating a pro snowboarder was a first for me, and he was spot-on portraying Crew’s broody yet charismatic persona in a husky tone that is earbud-melting worthy! Both narrators brought the heat capturing the forbidden, magnetic chemistry between Crew and Raven!

Overall, I LOVED this book! If you are a fan of best friend’s little sister romance with a hunky professional snowboarder, an ambitious fierce heroine who also snowboards, reconnecting with family, overcoming the past, Madigan Mountain Ski Resort, snowboarding competitions, ski lift mishaps, secret steamy times, halfpipe dreams, a jealous older brother, and a HEA delivers big air in your heart, then you will love Crew and Raven’s story! I always look forward to more from Devney Perry!

Another great story!

This book kept me engaged from start to finish. I like the depth of the characters and the relationship building between not just the H and h, but between family and friends.

Narration was fantastic! I am always happy to listen to Jason Clarke. Vanessa Edwin is becoming another favorite for me, too.

This whole series was really good.

Snowboarder romance set in a small town!

A Little Too Wild is the third book in the Madigan Mountain collab series! I loved the Hush Note series that Sarina Bowen, Devney Perry, and Rebecca Yarros collaborated on and was excited for this new series. There are 3 standalone books in the Madigan Mountain series, each following 3 brothers as they return to their family’s ski resort in Colorado. I have read all 3 in the series and while they definitely can be read on their own, I think they’re stronger if you’ve read them all.

Crew Madigan hasn’t been home for 12 years when the story starts. Like his 2 older brothers he also let home as soon as he could. For Crew that happened to be when he was 18-years old and he’s gone on to become a snowboarding legend, world champion, and even an Olympian. But now he’s back home after getting a call from his brothers in the previous book to return for one of their weddings. While at his brother’s wedding, Crew is having all the feelings about being back at their family’s ski resort, and decides he doesn’t want to spend the night alone. His best friend’s sister, Raven is also at the wedding and Crew invites her up to his room. They end up hooking up and definitely share a lot of history since they’ve known one another since childhood. Raven works at the ski school at the resort and they turn it into a friends with benefits/casual fling situation while Crew is in town.

I love Devney Perry books, I’ve read all but a couple of her holiday novellas now, and this book just felt like it was missing some of the charm and oomph that her books usually deliver on. I read all 3 books in the Madigan Mountain series and this sadly wasn’t my favorite (my fav goes to the Rebecca Yarros one). I did like that Crew was the one with the crush on her first. He actually liked Raven in highschool and assumed she always knew he crushed on her, but she was oblivious about it. It’s always refreshing when the hero pines instead of the heroine! This one was okay, the romance wasn’t anything special, we see the hero’s brothers wanting him to stay and work at the resort with them, it wraps up pretty easily, epilogue was sweet. Like it was just fine.

Family drama and X-Games

The third book in the Madigan Mountain series, all three books written by different authors can be read as standalones, but got to say I loved all three, and I don’t see why anyone would want to miss out on these three troubled brothers. Fun, sexy and entertaining family drama throughout. A Little Too Wild sees youngest brother Crew Madigan taking centre stage with his best friend’s sister, Raven Darcy. Not happy about coming back to Madigan Mountain, but enjoying the attention garnered from the one woman who never worshipped at his feet all those years ago, Crew’s visit is a onetime thing. A one and done suits both Raven and Crew, but yes, you’ve guessed it, feelings start getting involved, and before you know it, lines are blurred and plans are changing. What a wonderfully sexy, emotional and enjoyable audio with Vanessa Edwin and Jason Clarke giving me all the feels. I loved that we geo to see the whole family in the epilogues. A complete feel good audio with wonderful characters and a highly entertaining story.

stop bloody whispering!

I really liked this story but I still came close to deleting the recording after an hour or so. The difference in the narrator's volume from one end of a sentence to the other meant I had to crank up the volume to hear, then suddenly it was so loud!
